GOG3 is one of the games I have some interest in eventually playing. There's no guarantee I will get around to playing GOG3 but in case I do I am getting the resources from the daily login and ads. The only parts of the game I played are a few battles of the ? Challenge. GOG3 looks quite different from past easytech games. There are several currencies I don't fully understand what their use is and the new features in the gameplay. I just gotten enough medals to be able to buy any general in the game.  |

Are you planning to have a no-bought general gameplay or just a normal one? If it's a normal one, get Guderian first. Then Leeb. I got an Allied General in North Africa yes it was hell |

I just gotten enough medals to be able to buy any general in the game. challenge mode are pretty tough if you have low tech and weak general so i recommend buying Leeb/Guderian then just play campaign |

Also you could still play challenge to get promotion to upgrade your special forces and health of your generals

And since on this game it super easy to get medals so use it to buy more generals such as Yamashita/Rundstedt for infantry and Donitz/Nagumo for Pacific 42. I prefer to buy Donitz and Rundstedt instead because Donitz is better than Nagumo and Rundstedt has higher damage and survivabilty then Yama

In this game, IMO, Badoglio is quite a bit of a better buy than Leeb, and Guderian is, to be quite frank, substandard as a tanker. He is far inferior to Rommel except for the early game, where you shouldn't need a general. |

Remember that Leeb hits a lot harder than Badoglio for 1 less movement (Elefant can remedy this, making Leeb fast). Also remeber that Guderian is the only good general with Blitzkrieg with the important role of MTer, while Rommel is trash at MTing. Substandard is Graziani. |

I would say that Rommel didn't actually trash in med tank in fact quite the opposite Rommel is pretty good on med but not that good |

Since no on has clarified yet, you have your usual medals for unlocking generals, bronze medals (the middle one) for upgrading technologies (think the resources from WC4 but simplified into one) and silver medals, which upgrade special forces. Special forces are upgrades you can apply to basic units, which grant them different boosts to base stats, and also special boosts, like increased damage to armoured units. One major benefit to this is that it makes infantry units viable even without a general. |
