1. support to their ally: Tie (italy win maybe) first, let talk about italy: 1. they support the german in north africa: afrika korp mostly italians, and the italy navy support german alot (even through they mostly dead to royal navy) 2. they send divisions to eastern front, those divisions are bad and lack of supplies and armored but at least they are there not like japaneses who literally ignore german request( attack soviet) and go straight to dutch oils ok let compare to the japanese 1. they completely ignore ribbentrop request to attack the soviet 2. They dont send troops to fight with the german and they dont provide german anything(lack of resource ofc) 3. but they help drag attention of a hugh US forces to fight them instead of german (even through USA plan mostly focus on europe theatre) and remember, USA throw 3 millions troops+ at the pacific war in 1945 so this is a tie or the italy win maybe 2. betray their ally: italy win in term of amount of betray actually, they start betraying in 1940 when mussolini literally approve a contact of providing 400 airplanes to the royal airforce and you all know the famous case in 1944 when they betray german and the japanese doesnt even betray german ( you know it) so pretty sure japan win ig Japanese brought USA into the war Actually, even raeder tell hitler that war with USA is something hitler cant avoid and he recommend hitler to prepare for that anyway

I don't think Japan contributed in any meaningful way to the German war effort, except maybe to bring the doom of Germany more quickly by bringing the US into the war and by not cooperating to attack on the Russian Far East. Italy, as Shrimant Peshwa Madhavrao Bhat mentioned, tied up large amount of Allied troops and weapons, especially when invading the soft underbelly of Europe Though they didn't know at that time, it now seems really ridiculous when Churchill called Italy as Europe's soft underbelly.

Churchill and the allies has badly underestimate the Italian peninsula and the Germans under Kesselring use this peninsula as way to delay the Allies by a lot, and Japanese did delay the doomed Axis power at least 6 month due to tie up us troops, British/Indians and Australian troops in Burma and India

I doubt 2 divisions would have been able to hold out against 40 divisions. See the Greco Italian campaign ? Even there, there were no instances of a force winning against a 20 times larger forces.

Japanese brought USA into the war Actually, even raeder tell hitler that war with USA is something hitler cant avoid and he recommend hitler to prepare for that anyway But, still it would have atleast delayed US involvement in the war for some timed. But I don't think US involvement was inevitable, because wide support for policy of isolationism.

More troops /= Victory, you have to guess what general does the 2 division command and How compentent is he, if he was Kesselring/Model/Heinrici then Italian have tough time deal with two division

Isolationism is fine but Us have to involve somewhere because Japanese were barred from oil and 80% oil trade of Japan were from US so yeah
