Didn't the STAVKA changed red army from being one the most underestimated army in the world to eventually one the strongest one on earth at the time? Nope, the Soviets became veterans by fighting and learning from numerous battles fought against the Wehrmacht. |

Now Soviet union at first pretty bad but in 45 is terrifying to fight if exclude Manpower issue

Also Soviet Attack at Rzhev were costing lot's of men because of Model defense

Churchill feared that Soviets might attack France and western Germany and planned Operation Unthinkable, which was a pretty crappy plan considering how the Soviets outnumbered the Western Allies. |

Well since Allies did know some things in Eastern Front so yeah this was not a very good plan and a preemptive strike would make everyone distrust the British and democracy/republic |
