WUT? No, the theme is dark horses, gens that seem crappy but are good. Also, I refuse to get an American, Soviet, or German gen. Okay. Then get Yamashita/Kuri and Slim. Everyone likes those folks. They are not considered "bad purchases". |

Believe it or not, when the game first came out, Yamashita was considered the best axis infantry and Slim the best second allied infantry. I have spent my whole career dismantling those arguments, I'm not gonna just go back on that. |

Believe it or not, when the game first came out, Yamashita was considered the best axis infantry and Slim the best second allied infantry. I have spent my whole career dismantling those arguments, I'm not gonna just go back on that. Yama is as good as Rundstedt but Rund is more fun to use. Rundstedt might be better due to his HT hybrid-ness. Bradley is second best allied inf. Tassigny is for noobs stuck on Crete, speaking from experience from my first run. |

Heck, even Mac dies easily and he has gold FS! As for jungles, I'm really not on them very often, and for Tassigny, he has high output, and the best survivability out of any Infantry general apart from Rundstedt. |

As for jungles, I'm really not on them very often, and for Tassigny, he has high output, and the best survivability out of any Infantry general apart from Rundstedt. Inf doesn't tank, that's for MTs. Bradley has good output and can be put on Irish Guards. Also tech level. |
