I imagine there will be another op GCR Chinese general talent - overwhelm, 25% chance to ignore counterattack level 4 charge on 10 sides - 24% chance to attack again (universal skill) If this is true, I hope the new one will be Lubu or GuanYu or XiangYu.

While he is looks most suited for cavalry, having the potential for 9 points in cavalry and being deployed in cavalry in arena/epic war. I am thinking about deploying him on archer due to his high chance to attack again. I consider extra attacks to be most significant on archers due to them being able to avoid counterattack damage most of the time. Cavalry already has a 60% chance to attack again after destroying a enemy legion. So his extra attack chance is arguably most significant on archer. He does remind me of WC3 Manstein on that regard. However, I think it might be more viable to make him cavalry and let the commander be an archer. The primary reason is their default unit. Han Xin's default is cavalry and Javelineers are better than heavy cav. I think the biggest problem here isn't Han himself since we can always spend 5k coins to reset his stats, but rather how we will build our commander with the presence of Han.

I also think hes better cav, mainly due to the fact that his talent and cavalry's chance to attack again pairs well together Also pairs well with Hans crossbowman with their 10% chance to attack again I think his ambush skill is wasted on archer because its only useful against other archers but at the same time 50% chance to attack again with 100% chance of no retaliation against melee units?! The hide and ambush skills make him a sort of anti-archer archer gen Currently I have my Han Xin as a cavalry general but I'm thinking of making him an archer instead Kinda sux that I can't change his unit like with the commander Personally I make my commander a full defense infantry commander because I love super tanky gens even at the cost of offensive ability

I suggest you disable automatic update for the GCR app in the play store (in case you're on android) and let other players (like myself ) tell you if the offer is still there after the update.

I did some tests in archer and he performs satisfactory. Hes forced to be on cavalry in epic war and arena so my opportunity to use him in archer is limited. In hero legend, I have Attila and archer commander taking the general slot for archers.

Atleast in my opinion, his fate will always be to be in the shade of Commander, other IAPs and even some other gold generals despite being a great purchase for his price and banner.
