I got 2 silver each defeating 2 enemies today. They both had 700 or so attack. Then I faced 2 players with 8000 attack and I earned 4 silver.

Please, we should not deploy strong defensive force. Let’s sign a pact of defense-minimization for the good of people! I’m too busy with my study now and don’t have time to grind things. Just keep watching daily videos and doin daily task to collect some gold. Every Mercenary Unit of mine is LEVEL 1 ( Why we should sign this pact: 1. Lost in defending your territory won’t have any negative effect til now. 2. Only win in attacking others’ territory give you some pitying rewards (1000 gold, 4 points, 2 silver + daily reward of territory mode + increase in rank). 3. Deploy a strong defense won’t help you to get anything, only prevent people getting their reward. WE NEED THE HELP OF EACH OTHER, YOU HELP ME AND I HELP YOU, THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR ALL OF US.

Therefore, minimum forces should be put on the defensive. If most players do this, there will be more chances to win, especially for f2p. Well, I don't think it will help so much. Let's imagine a player ignors defense completely. But after several easy victories he inevitably will climb up the ladder and our rivals will have great defensive installations and a couple of more generals. Each battle will be more exhausting and time consuming, with a result far from guaranteed. So, sooner or later we will be struggling even with getting daily rewards. At silver tier I don't have easy opponents with one or two generals anymore. I have to upgrade buildings just to remain competitive. And I see that majority of players actually strengthen their defense, so, until we sign a common manifest not to build defensive structures , we simply will lose more times than we win. But even those rare wins will move us forward until one day we can't win a single fight. A vicious circle... after removing my gens for defense and deplyong 1 low gen the rank of enemies stays at my old rank about 60k. so what is the correlation between own rank and and rank of recommended player. why does replacing now not consider smaller rank players?

I think that your rank (bronze/silver etc) determines the opponents you face as it has been in EW5 and GCR.

4. everyone saves a lot of time (optimizing defense and outmaneuvering the defenders while attacking) 5. more silver coins for shop items if you don't need them for towers

Just started this mode today, and I'm quite puzzled. Using some logic, I guess that our buildings will stay as they are after this session is over, otherwise we would have to build everything from scratch every time a new session begins, and this mode would just become a huge waste of resources. With this assumption (which might be wrong), would wonders influence only this mode, or also campaign/conquest? As andrei noted, one of them is about ship mobility. And there is one about mobility in the desert and one about mobility in the snow. My guess is that for every session the map will change (sometimes we will be in the desert, sometimes in snowy landscapes, sometimes in normal maps like this one, sometimes the city will be surrounded by water) and we will just reposition our buildings. So wonders would only influence this mode (after all, cloud save doesn't consider changes in this mode, it's saved separately). Would this be a good guess?

So there's no point in defending? I've succeded in a defense today but i am fairly sure it did not give any coins or points whatsoever. Based on this all castles and towers become useless too since they do not take any part in attacks. Why is it like this? It does not make any sense at all.

my takes about territory if any ET dev or something like that reads;
1) when we upgrade our cities, defense should get +1 or +2 more units than offense. you know, we can't control defense much, so better to compansate it by unit spams to more challenging experience
2) defensive success should be rewarded as well

I think, Defensive victory may give some rewards in the future. But if that happens, simply remove every unit in your territory, you’ll not be attacked anymore. So maybe ET afraid that no one joins and no defend - no attack problem

I tend to like challenging myself going against P2w whales as an F2p player. So I avoid low targets. Today I managed to beat a 72k player as 63k.

Or something else to make it harder to get rewards in this game mode.
