I see that we can receive 300 medals for upgrading our house to lvl 16. Are there other medal rewards for further constructions? You have to spend some medals to upgrade but you do get some back as well. I haven't played it for a while now. I think I stopped as soon as I got Heihachiro's special item, or shortly thereafter. This as far as I got, with the same reasoning as jonblend

It is doubtful that I will buy Charlemagne's item, but Beowulf's weapon can come in handy. Besides, I am definitely planning to upgrade a couple of princesses.

Reading this whole thread gives me the impression that most of you experienced guys find this grinding way too time consuming. That is also my opinion. How about you, stoic, do you play both Siege and Defense on a daily basis?

EW5 is more like a marathon nowadays even if you are a committed player you have to take a break from the game from time to time and to rest. So, I haven't even opened EW5 for the last month. Now, when my strength and stamina are restored, I am going to play quite actively. This includes both sieges and defense battles. Iron Duke has a serious advantage over me in our unofficial friendly competition (we restarted the game at the same time), so I have to do my best to remain competitive Of course, players who already completed all trials and Ust-Nera missions don't have a motivation to open Paris at all. But if you begin from a scratch (like we did) you are more vigorous in completing tasks that don't make any sense

Must say EW5 is surprisingly good. Thanks for all that you and Iron Duke and several other veterans contribute in the forums. Awesome help for me and many others 😊

Awesome help for me and many others 😊 Thanks for your kind words, Sir Since the game is still in development, even veterans of EW5 battles learn something new with each new update. I must confess that it was an entirely different game when I completed it for the first time several years ago. I don't know the reason why ET continue to upgrade it. It is doubtful that this project remains profitable in 2023. But I am happy that they release new interesting chapters every 3 months or so.
