I think that any top tier general is capable enough to shine here and there from time to time. But I believe we should expect more from a gold tier general whose price is above 2000 medals. IIRC Nur ad-Din's price is only 1750 medals. I should know it because I have not and will not buy him (unless I have completed all hero legends and am bored with the game). Unless you were referring to someone else, if that is the case please ignore this statement. Yeah, I was talking about him. Thanks for clarifying 👍. But, still, 1750 medals is a hell of a sum for a general we use only in Expedition. |

I understand that for F2P users Nur Din is not good enough, but if you bought PoH he’s one of the best archer generals. Archer Mastery lvl 4 (+25%) are active for 2 rounds, easily achievable gems combination for Master shooter is also available for him.  |

IBC, Mameluks and MR, are best combo and wreck chaos in the battlefield. They counter every other archer combo, melee cavlary and do significant damage to melee infantry and charhing cavlary. Their problem are only templars.

Based on many Expeditions I can tell that all archers are quite bad. They deal little damage to defensive generals and die from 1 hit. They also get huge counter attack damage if attack other strong archers, e.g. Timur attacking Timur will almost die from counter attack. But as second line general or support he is really good, e.g. you can use Timur's skill, attack with Richard and finish with Timur.

Your comment is odd in many ways to say the least, but that's your problem. Let it be as you say, for Territory and Expedition we need 12 Generals, which Generals should they be (without archers general) and which units? Don't just list me at least 10 IAPs, but if that's the only way you know you're playing it's not a problem, so give me 12 names. |

In fact I think that Timur can beat some Territory defenses if someone has enough patience to do it. Especially "old school" lineups composed of 3 Mamlukes.    I continue to use triple mamlukes on Saladin, because IBC and MR are still weak (respectively lvl6 and 2  ). |

Their problem are only templars. Timur's skill fixes that somewhat, and so does anyone with Interception I guess. The biggest weakness of this combination is mirror matching (or something with IBC). There are always ways to mitigate weaknesses in this game. |

its not necessary. gems are the go to for points now anyway. i use english longbow to lvl his archerysskill and compensate the blue item with gold dmg item + gem inlays.
