maybe have charging cavalry for added defence and to use the charging skill - unique unit - range infantry.
the unique unit must be in middle. the unique item requires it to have a unique unit for increase damage.
front always gets hit
backrow hit by detour
middle safe depends on lvl.
i have noble cavalry ( my highest lvl of charging unit)- mongolian raiders (unique unit)- ravenna crossbow(for repeated fire skill)
still waiting to get the item

i mean certainly for hero legends the setup question is still there. but honestly i put him on regular units in campaign and conquest bc its his active i need and need it early not once i accumulated coins.
the number of hero legends went down.
so imo setup rly doesnt matter. even if its fun to dream about high lvl MR

Even with low level mamluks, you can run ibc, ma, woad since they are in the middle for 10 mobility and chase.
MR are only needed if you have the weapon and/or they are better than your woads stat wise.

My mr are just below my wr in terms of stats right now but wr gives chase. Changed it to that, should be decent. But I am also trying to think of set up for when I get the weapon. I guess it’s either ibc / mam / mr or ibc / mr / ravenna. Later could be interesting, I don’t like the idea of having mrs in the back… But ravenna is kinda underpowered. |

Being lazy in farming I am still able to unlock it  Not in February as jonblend did  but, hey, better late than never So, it is indeed a f2p weapon, provided players have enough patience  Spent all my war souls on MR too. I think it is a safe bet anyway. |
