Okay, I know this is not an ET game, but it is one of my favorites. Anyways, I plan on creating a mod for the New Campaign Trail for an alternative 1900 election, where William Jennings Bryan won in 1896. I have still not decided the Republican nominee, so I will use a poll. I will post updates in this thread.

Strong Christian values. Who cares if he lost, Crazy Bryan doesn't stand a chance against him. In all seriousness, I would love to see Garrett Hobart as the nominee. He just seems like a fun, humble, likable guy with conservative positions and a lot of experience. Sorta the antithesis to Bryan. Plus he was McKinley's running mate. |

I did not know the game before your posts and by brave-ing for the game to understand what you are talking about, I encountered a lot of guides for modding new campaigns or elections ?. Usuallly you don't need any programmers skills to create a mod and your game seems to be extendable by design. |

I'll assume that the POD is the Veep change and the realignment of Bryan to embracing urban Democrats instead of solely appealing to farmers. Furthermore, Bryan aligns with Coxey and Palmer is convinced by Stevenson not to run. My Map:  |

Bryan does exactly the same, but in this universe, one way or another, he wins. Maybe he does a few small things better, such as campaigning on Sunday, campaigning with Altgeld, framing Free Silver as a workersβ policy also, and perhaps a visit to the West Coast. His veep stays as Sewall (terrible VP choice on the DNCβs part. If I was Bryan, I would be livid.)

I will also take the creative liberty of assuming Sewall dies before the campaign, allowing Bryan to choose another running mate. The canon one should be Stevenson, but Horace Boies will certainly be an option.
As for the opponent, I think a McKinley/Hanna ticket is a good idea.
