Second World War RP

Good to have an enemy again) I'm in, but I'll have limited availability for a couple weeks.

Warlord247,Theron of Acragas, Eugene V. Debs, @augustfirsrarmy, I had a very busy January, but now I'll be able to RP again, if there are other players. Should we keep this going or start a new one?

I've been mostly away recently as well, seeing that you guys were mostly busy too. But now, if everyone wants too, I too am ready to return. If not, then waiting is also okay for me until everyone is available to play.

As to whether we should continue this one or not, there are some reasons both to continue and start anew. First, this RP wasn't exactly dead, rather, it is like we all just took some break from the forum, no one went permanently inactive or something, so no reason not to keep going where we've left as long as everyone is available and wants to do so.

However, I'm equally okay with starting a new RP too, if the consensus becomes so. And it can be argued that we've lost the momentum as there has been no activity for a long while, so starting anew and freshly may be better. And if only some of us are available to keep playing this one (which is naturally understandable), then we wouldn't be able to continue this RP anyway.

All in all, there is no problem for me either way, whether we start a new one or continue where we've left last time (or keep waiting for everyone to become available). So, what would you guys say? Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov, Warlord247, Darth Nihilus?

Uh...may I join? I'll be active. Spam tag me if I don't complete my turn in time. So which ones can I take? Maybe I can take over an inactive mahor country if that's ok?

About the factories, I think that we should wait for Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov's reply, as he is the one who has prepared the forces and the factory numbers.

If I were to guess, I'd say that you'd probably get approximately 2 or 3 factories. In 1938 (the starting year of this RP) the Republicans had already lost territory to the Nationalists since the beginning of the civil war, which may have included some industrial areas. Also, the Nationalists' factories aren't still specified either, and yours would be in connection with their factory number, as the country is divided to two, so naturally, the factories too.

The numbers are only my guess, though. My readings about the Spanish Civil War has been more focused on memoirs (like Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell) and on the political aspect, rather than the military and industrial aspects, so I am not sure.

Also, it is still not certain whether everyone still wants to continue, as the RP had been inactive for a while, so we're waiting for the rest of the players to reply, in order to decide the next course of action (and we are already only a few people, who controls the critical countries, so we wouldn't be able to continue if all of us weren't active anyway, unlike the previous big RPs). So, either way, we'll have to wait before we can take an action.
