Mehmed skill last 2 turns, not 1. Seems like 30% damage buff for all gens who attack marked unit. Only agree with you Mehmed not good in treasure hard because enemies too OP so disable or Su are better choice than damage buff. You didn't convince me that Mehmed is the best general in this game, even now I'm even more sure that he definitely isn't. For me, Vlad III has a much more useful skill for Treasure and Campaign. A general whose opponent is too OP for him cannot be the best. I don't want to convince you, I just give information. For me, who's the best isn't much important. Just wonder why ppl hate and underate him when they can't obtain him and haven't used him at full power.

They're comparing cost to ability.

Yay, he’s an excellent General. But for me and many f2p, the best ones are the ones “in stock” that we could use. It’s like you’re running a company, when hiring people to do the job, if his demanding salary is too high that you can’t afford, why trying to get him if others could do the job for you with lower payments. He’s excellent, but not cost efficient for me.

Vlad is very good for treasure missions as the enemies are OP and maybe for territory in case someone is still having problems here. But he is not that good for other modes. He is very very situational and it is not that easy to utilise all his best abilities in other modes. That makes him comparable with Su Dingfang. Very good but very situational general. In most common situations he is just a mediocre dude on a fragile horse.

But his best setup for conquest is probably his musketeer+Mamluk+Woad and this leaves him a bit behind gens with Mongolian archers. In case Mamluks receive OP 5th skill I would probably call him the strongest, but that is still a question what is the 5th skill

When he kills an opponent he regains 20% (10% if not killed) of his health, making him practically immortal in Chalenge Conquest where he is able to kill everyone in one attack. This again makes it possible not to use a Tent on him, which leaves room for some other equipment, which is not the case with other cavalry generals who are very sensitive to health loss. In the Campaign, it is also useful when you need to attack some OP tanky General or a city with many wall points and a strong counterattack General, which is practically in every mission. Thanks to his ability, he is also the guardian of the health of the other Generals, and that is also useful, especially in the Campaign and Treasure.

First, it is difficult to utilise his Isolation skill. Second, yes, he can regain health, but he only prevents Counterattack. In the enemies' phase of the turn he can easily be crippled as he is not superstrong to oneshot OP enemy gen either in treasure or challenge conquest. I agree with Your previous strategy when Richard and Calmness is used. It is a win no doubt. But as a standalone he is a generic mediocre gen who only prevents Counterattack. Nothing more. Yes, good ability, but not a game changer without the support of other good strong gen or tactical use of other gens. So I can't call him the best one because of that.

Yes, main problem with cav gens generally. Not only Vlad's problem. My Cav gens can't chase the advance of my archer gens. I gave him his special unit, Gendarme and Jet black cav.

Any General left alone will be killed, except for Su Dingfang and only if he activates his ability (I'm talking about Treasure missions, in Conquest Range Cav are far more useful than Charge Cav). So that reason of yours is simply not in place. In Treasure, all Range Generals died easily due to enemy attacks, I see no reason why it would be any different with Mehmed. The point of my comment is not that Vlad III is the best general, but that his use is far greater than you presented, and he is certainly not a mediocre and fragile general. Also, Mehmed needs to have good "logistics and support" to bring out his full potential, he is not the type of General who should act as a lone wolf.

Mehmed is archer gen who can utilise repeated fire, mobilize and be effective on any type of terrain. He can be effective in any game mode. Even in treasure. He just needs to be placed properly. Same is important for Vlad by the way. But archer gens are simply better and Mehmed is one of the best among them. And what will Vlad do against the opponent with counter infantry in front of him? Just cry in the corner. He is useless against such a strong opponent. He can charge with no effective damage and receive tons of damage in retaliation. He can't be better because all of the mentioned reasons. And Vlad will also die same fast as Mehmed so all the cons valid for Mehmed are valid for Vlad. Vlad is good situationally. And archer gens are OK against opponents Counterattack. And opponents Counterattack is only thing really valuable from Vlad's side if we speak generally not only about treasure missions mode.

Wow Charge General is bad against Def Inf? Really? According to that logic, all Cav Generals are bad, you literally ignore everything I wrote and take my words out of context, you set up the situation as it suits you and you think that you have proved something with arguments. Funny way of discussion. Vlad III + Richard + 2 Calmness Generals can hold 4 enemy Generals chained for 3 turns so they can't move, attack and counter attack, during this time Vlad III and Richard can attack a minimum of 7 times each, even more if they have JBC , during that time there is no General even with 3 Def Inf who will survive it. Mehmed is already dead in the first turn if he is attacked, he is that strong. Or do you think he can attack 10 times and then run away 10 squares? Or will he sit in the corner and cry for others to do the work for him? Mehmed is more versatile and useful than Vlad III, but that is more due to the type of units they use, all in all it can be said that Mehmed is a better General. But to claim that Mehmed is the best general in the game, and that Vlad III is average, is ridiculous, and that's only because you don't know how to use him properly.

Haven't I specified that the strategy where Richard and Calmness is used is a win? And let's be honest. Richard + Calmness is already a win. Vlad just makes it no loss win. I agree Vlad is good when supported with such a strong setup. I wad speaking about comparison as a stand alone general. And You are now again providing a situation when Vlad is awesome. Regarding I don't know how to use Vlad... Hm strange statement as I used absolutely same strategy as You in treasure missions. This strategy is obvious. And I breezed through it using vlad and Richard so I am fully aware of how to use him. Try to attack at least mixed legions (if counter infantry in front seems not fair enough to You) using Vlad as a standalone gen and using Mehmed. Nothing else is necessary. Comparison is comparison. Compare them as stand alone. Tactical support is not the case. Any solid gen is fine if You know how to play.

As a lone wolf, Mehmed is better, but again it depends more on the type of units, but even in that case he is nothing spectacular, that does not make him the best, nor does it make Vlad III average. This game was not even designed to be played that way, the Generals should work as a team and get the most out of each other, and Vlad III fits perfectly into that concept.
