Saladin Is Best buy. Powerful Bond, powerful skin and Nice teritory bonus. Not to mention +1 general in campaign.

I finished Troy treasure with max Stars today and Saladin was the leading role in that scenario. His hit and run tactics with new skin Is Game changing. Oh yes, Saladin always travels with Matilda, Godfrey and Murad I😀

I would imagine that Edward the Black Prince would also be a choice, even if his main selling point is the +1 gem slot.
After all, a gold weapon can provide 3 slots, which can allow someone to get Forced March, one of the Mastery skills, or something else.
