New skins for F2P gens. The top belongs to Akechi Mitsuhide and can be unlocked by clearing Hard mode of Hero Legend. Probably based on legend that he wasn't assassinated or survived the attempt and returned to power disguised as a monk.

The other two can be obtained from the Ban-kin shop.

There's a price-guessing event for Chiyome's skin on ET's official social media pages.

So I'm guessing that Chiyome is still not gonna be that useful, though it helps a LOT that Assassination becomes her rank 4 skill instead of her rank 6. 

Dousetsu's active looks like an attack active, and if it is then that's a huge buff. That'd be great for all those clans that get to spawn in a heavy cavalry with a tactic, unless of course his specialized unit also changes. Unfortunately his skillset still remains pretty inconsistent since there's no Cavalry Mastery there.

And I doubt Mitsuhide is gonna get much better from that. A 90% attack active that instantly puts you at high morale is pretty hard to top. And the last skill is a rank 6 one which may or may not be worth going out of your way to get. 

So no new generals and only skins, huh. Atleast I now have a way to spend that hoard of calligraphy.

That new unit looks totally useless.

Well they just dropped a video preview of what’s to come.



So the medals used in the rank system are acquired through the last challenge conquest.



Apparently it’s Yukimura’s daughter. She’s Yoshihime 2.0. That hinges on whether her valor is as good as hers though. Not very useful unless you decide to play WAY beyond when you should be autoing.



So the rank ups are just another way to upgrade your generals. It doesn’t make ANY sense to go beyond Karo here if these are to be the bonuses. Taishogun is a complete joke too.



This one’s probably getting a triple F in my unit ranking because of where they’re showing this unit.





Chiyome becomes a super support archer. Conjuring doesn’t matter since it’s unlikely one would go out of your way to rank 6 her.





Dousetsu goes from a cavalryman to a kamikaze infantryman who dies really fast.

They might be worth it, but Dousetsu is still not really that good as far as infantry goes. I mean there’s already a bunch of infantrymen who does more reliable damage without sacrificing THAT much survivability.





Mitsuhide becomes mini-Nobunaga. Friendly troops refers to YOURS, not the enemy. So if you have some units around the target (including Tenkai himself) then you basically give them a Furinkazan buff without the ignore interrupt.

He’s also probably gonna spec on the Teppo Warrior Monk, not that that means anything at all.

All in all, if this is gonna be how it is then despite ET’s stated intention, I don’t think these skins really move the needle on these generals.

I think the points are for conquering castles and maybe for completing expeditions. I've already completed Tenkabito so can't say for sure. And the buffs from the war points are pretty much useless if you complete Tenkabito
