Monty, if your progress was only finishing coalition when you tested it (and get LAN and VICTORIA), then this means campaign progress is not that relevant, which is interesting (and contradicts to what we have been believing).

Current experience: Conquest: 1798 with HRE and France, Coalition campaign finished (all 5*) 1) HRE round 32 + <1000 Material + Imperial Eagle BEFORE Leipzig Campaign = 600 Years, no Isabella 2) HRE round 35 + >1000 Material + Imperial Eagle BEFORE Leipzig Campaign = 600 Years, no Isabella 3) France round 42 >2000 Material + Imperial Eagle BEFORE Leipzig Campaign = 550 Years, no Isabella
4) HRE round 32 + <1000 Material + Imperial Eagle AFTER Leipzig Campaign = 600 Years, no Isabella 5) HRE round 35 + >1000 Material + Imperial Eagle AFTER Leipzig Campaign = 650 Years, no Isabella 6) France round 42 >2000 Material + Imperial Eagle AFTER Leipzig Campaign = 600 Years, no Isabella
This means that years depend on 3 parameters: finishing time, conquest completion and resources.
Btw, the break seems to be round 39, when I get 50 years less

Have not broken this puzzle all together, but one key in the perfect finish of exactly 31 turn with more of the metal ressources. Reload the ancient save for a newer combination, this road may or not lead to success. I was thinking about that but the payback of the equioment building upgrade is around 5 turns. And during the first 15 round I had problems with gold and equipment means it was extremely difficult to spend for building upgrades.... Is there some guiding figure of the quantatiy of the resousces I need to have by the end? Anyway thanks a lot for advice!

Andrei, I would say that hammer (or metal or whatever it is called) is the thing that keep you from getting Victoria. Based on your scenario, you probably need 3200+ hammer. I finished HRE98 in 27 rounds with everything else same as yours and got 800 yrs so I waited a bit till round 31 and have 31xx hammer, still got 800 yrs. Then I reloaded and traded some surplus gold for hammer and ended up having 33xx hammer, while everything else was the same, I got 850 yrs and princess Victoria.

However that was my best walkthrough, I tried once more after that from the very beginning and finished in 31 rounds with even worse result on resources, though I was upgrading the artillery buildings from the very beginning. So I guess I will nor see Victoria Anyway now I understand what should it be! Thanks a lot.

kanue and eastern empire, thanks a lot. I did it.
I try once again. Spent several medical kits and managed to finish at 31 round with 9000+ gold, 4000+ metal, 9000+ food. I also can say that gold is also important. I try savegame several times and can say that I didn't receive 850 years with the following: 7000 gold, 4000 metal, 9500 food.

Gratz. Here's what I did (but i guess you probably don't need it anymore). I used 2 cavalry and 1 artillery generals. Lan commanded the heavy cavalry unit that is available near Munich right at the beginning. I didn't wait for a better unit because I wanted her operate right from round 1. She moved toward Spain captured towns (Lyon, stable next to Marseilles, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Madrid, Seville) along the way. From these towns, I spawned troops to attack everything nearby. I had Ney commanded heavy cavalry unit near Poland (also available at the start) and attack Ottoman Empire. My last general was Isabela. She took heavy artillery unit (the one next to Archduke C) to attack Italy and fight Napoleon. I also trained Isabela to have 5 stars in trading so after she killed Napolean and mopped up enemy troops in Mediterranean, I had her go to Bordeaux and stand by for trading resources. I normally have my gold reach 9999 around round 25++ so I traded all surplus gold for hammer.

Some more experiences on Isabella (finally got her)
1) In the config files 650 years is written 2) I achieved 650 years with 35 rounds in 1798 HRE earlier than with 32 rounds 1798 HRE. The difference was one campaign 3) I finally got with the same saves Isabella with 700 years. The background was progress in campaigns (Imperial Eagle and Coalition completed, HRE Austro-Turkish war). With less campaings I received 650 years (and some time before even less)
