Hi all, please would you help me? After so mush attempts I finished HRE'98 within 30 turns, but still didn't get Victoria.
Stats: turn 30, gold 9603, iron 2590, food 9503
After reading this thread, I tried to get one more turn, and buy more iron resources.
Stats: turn 31, gold 9499, iron 3305, food 9513
But I still get only 800 year rule.
BTW I have windows version, if it could matter...

I was awarded Victoria after finishing the conquest with 4000+ metal, but kanue says that 3300+ is sufficient, so just try to purchase some more metal. If possible do that with general having trade skill (who knows maybe he is somewhere near trade center  ) |

This results in turn 30 gold 8063, iron 2840, food 8033, or in turn 31 gold 8029, iron 3545, food 8043, which both isn't enough  I suppose the border probably is in turn 30 iron 3000, and turn 31 iron 3600. I hope I soon get merchant trainer general, upgrade Lan, and try again... Many thanks for tips. |

You could try several more times 7500 gold and food or 7500 gold and even less food. Hope You'll finally get her. I made 3 attempts (I mean I had to win it 30-31 turns three times) before I received necessary amount of metal and years rule consequently |

Lan upgraded to 5-star merchant.
Turn 30, gold/iron/food 8000/2970/8000, or 7800/3010/7700, or 7500/3100/7000
Turn 31 gold/iron/food 9000/3600/8000, or 7200/4000/7100
Still 800 years
Maybe I'm just below the edge. Have to start over new conquest...

I got 850 years rule when I waited to round 31 and had 9999 gold 33xx hammer and 9xxx food.

In case kanue remember such number maybe the problem is in gold. You had figures "Stats: turn 31, gold 9499, iron 3305, food 9513"
Try to increase the gold selling food and leave iron at 33xx

I thought the 9999 gold is most significant, and just tried several combination to know where the border is, but now this is becoming strange:
after I got 850 years, I keep getting 850 years even with turn 31, gold 9499, iron 3305, food 9513 (which didn't work several days ago).
The only difference is more rank and nobility points; but only slightly - the levels were (and still are) 55 and 60.
Now only with turn 31 9349/3393/9302 (or less) I got 800 years. Maybe the fact I have Victoria is now giving me some bonus for ruling years... who knows.

With a single general of my own I've finished Europe in 64. Could have done it in less, if a French infantry had not emigrated in Tunisia :-)
Although, I have to admit - Sweden and Prussia did nice job with Denmark and Great Britain succeeded capturing Amsterdam and attacked Paris.

I've tried many times to get Lan but just can't manage it. Do i have to finish all campaign missions with five stars first? I've got a 27 round save game with 2800 gold, 537 hammer and 2600 food but only got 500 years rule. What more do i need to have?

To get Lan rom the American Conquest, I assume I need to select the Challenge Asia option at the end?
I completed the American conquest in round 33 and got 650 Year rule, and Kate. Challenging Asia I get 150 year rule and no Princess.
