My apologies, I have a quick sketch but I haven't drafted it on my laptop. I will show you guys, and I want some feedback. I think it's relatively balanced.
The pic is rotated 90 degrees btw. N for neutral SC ● soild for home center ○ hollow for the 3rd center (applies only to a 3-player game, ignore) Zigzag scribble is my way of "delete" with a pen. It's my personal convention for years.

Expect possibly at 9pm Central time (Chicago) tonight for a properly drafted map.

Ikr, Germany is my favorite country. I think I have played over 100 games of diplomacy. What do you think about the GoT version's map design? Didn't see it.

Diplo in an nutshell: Backstabbing. I swear there's a GoT version somwhere. Ahh, family fun. Yep. Found it. imgur.com/VyYKNI'll bet that Stark wins. Just look at that ridiculous SC distribution! They can have 6 SCs, 3 builds in 1901! António Salazar, here.

As promised I do have a map, but I don't have names for the provinces yet. Feedback anyone? I hope the map is suitable. The green in west is the Caudleode tribe. The orange in north is the Isles of the Zenaides. The yellow in east is the Ampharites. The red in south is the Calidras Empire. I will post the list of provinces or you guys could throw in some good names. It doesn't affect the gameplay but it helps add some touch of coolness. Just think of ancient Mediterranean and Mesopotamia. I can take suggestions and incorporate them into the list.

Some possible suggestion for place names: -Tunistalia -Lusitanium -Maghrebistan -101 Dalmatians -Skanderbegia These are all based off Mediterranean areas btw. The 101 Dalmatian recommendation is silly, but it would be funny.

... the valley of the Bohrs? The Four Kings (for the SC isles near Green)? Isle of Fools? Straits of Zaltor?

Desophaeus, I think I'll skip this one because I may not have the time to properly commit to this and TW 13 so I think I'll wait for the second game if you do a second one.

Desophaeus, There is a great website thing called Backstabbr to use for normal diplomacy maps if you don't want to draw the updates yourself (use sandbox mode).

Desophaeus, There is a great website thing called Backstabbr to use for normal diplomacy maps if you don't want to draw the updates yourself (use sandbox mode). Thanks, man. I already set up a XCF file in GIMP where I have the map itself, then a folder of text names that I can turn on or off, and then a master copy of units all colored in four groups for four countries where I can copy a layer and then move it around, get another copy and move it somewhere I want it to be. That was thoughtful of you, I appreciate the thought behind it.
