Infatry generals are totally worth it (at least some of them). I've seen alot of people using Malinovsky and Nasser is a top pick too. I somehow also like Wingate (his skills are both lvl 4) and Student (good infatry/air attack general)

Infantry generals are kamikaze bombers for me. I just have them charge into the fray, and deal 50 damage per hit against enemy generals. They die quickly, but they help my other troops come in and clean up. Are they worth it? After building a solid lineup of tank generals and artillery generals, then yes an infantry general could probably serve you well.

But if you just got another tank general, it could deal maybe less damage but more over time right?

Infatry generals are pretty good for challenges and missions because they have a short live time but can deal massive damage definitely not something for alien conquest.

I don't like to have too many tank generals. After all, how many tanks are you typically given in campaigns? Rommel and Guderian are my tank generals, Konev is my artillery, and one of my commanders is used for Infantry. This lineup is very effective for me. I have the commander fight the powerful tank generals, or go around enemies and fight enemy artillery generals. It makes it way easier for my more important tank generals to survive as they do mostly cleanup after the commander is dead.

You just reminded me of a question I wanted to ask: Should you buy Rommel if you already have Guderian?

That depends on what other generals you have. If you don't have an air general, I reccommend buying Göring instead of Rommel.

You just reminded me of a question I wanted to ask: Should you buy Rommel if you already have Guderian? You should consider the role that your line-up is still missing. But if you want to buy a tank general, I would suggest you to also consider Patton. Explosive and urban fighting are more useful than anti-armor and dessert fighting. But the choice between Tide of Iron or Blitzkrieg is ultimately yours to decide. I like Rommel in historical context but in WC3 I prefer Patton.

Lol I was thinking about that. I like Rommel just cause hes Rommel, not really his skills.

Well, the best is to buy both Patton and Rommel, although Rommel should be after Patton. If you don't want Rommel, then Vatutin is your guy.
