For people who play conquest for fun sometimes not Katy to get medals, stay away from the USA in all conquest modes: they may be possible the biggest and best super power but they always have a two front war, Asia and Europe. If you don't support in Europe, Germany (1939-1943) or Russia (1950-1960) dominate and then invade Canada and you. If you don't support Asia, Japan (1939-1943) or PRC (1950-1960) dominate.

The USA is very easy. It just takes too long. 2 front wars are usually beneficial as you can expand and knock powerful countries out of the war right from the start using your higher level human intelligence. The US is just too isolated from the battlefields.

I just finished a 44 turn win with Poland in 1960. Remember to only take cities, and focus on killing one country at a time. As Poland, take and hold Berlin first. Then build nukes and kill England, take all 4 English cities ASAP. After that, the game is basically over. London is the key to the whole world, every time due to its strategic location with what amounts to a moat around it.

I'll start with mine, you can add yours too and tell us how this has helped you. Long range artillery : My conquest games got so much better when I started using these. Now my entire strategy in conquest mode always revolves around capturing towns that are capable of producing these units (industrial cities level 2+). Upgrade tech level on artillery as much as possible and infantry too. My main units are long range artillery+mechanized infantry always. In 1943 era and onward you also need air defense tech to protect cities. once in 1950-1960 super tanks are OK, but I use the rocket artillery tons .

Anyone else think that you should outfit your aircraft carriers? Like make a air strike one? Bombing, strategic bombing, paratroopers, cause if that would happen it would be so awesome.

I find Kanue's tip very helpful. In 1943 as England, after I defeated the Germans in Africa all I had left was to take down Germany which was a breeze since they didn't decide to use troops so it was more of a air battle for Germany. After I beat it I went to 1950 thinking I was good in my tech but no, you maybe have to be atleast level 21 to be good at the Cold War scenarios. Level 21 so you can upgrade nukes and Ballistic Missiles(BM). Unless you can cope with the very advanced enemies it will be supremely hard to win. Only way I'm doing good is my 'Tide Of Iron' as Russia into Europe. Basically it's just rocket artillery and super tanks with the Blitzkrieg movement. Making nukes, nuking cities, paratrooping in to claim them with my super tanks and rocket artillery moving on to other targets.

In 1960, Brazil or Soviets are best. As winning in the Soviets I don't know how I got myself out of a butt kicking from NATO. After I took Scandinavia everything went down hill for me, probably I only used troops provided at the start of the game and spent all my money and RSS into Africa. After I lost Riga, Lenningrad, Kiev, and Scandinavia I took the defensive. I had place 35 mines around Moscow, made nukes and land forts and defended Moscow at all costs. They threw commanders at me but I kept nuking them. After their forces were low and RSS was exhausted I still was a super power then counter attacked all of them. It was like how I played as UK against Germany in 1943, they gave me no resistance as I bombed, nuked, and took strategic cities then taking smaller ones. After I took Europe, and the Middle East back, I was basically OP. I helped the PRC out of a tight situation facing American and Japanese invasion as well as use Japan as a staging ground for my Alaskan invasion. My western forces invaded Brazil then took neutral Columbia and Brazil to gather more RSS and by the time my eastern forces had conquered the pacific and Canada, I invaded US through the north and sound making quick work of them.

I always lack that 'Lightning' resource (got thousands of the other 2 left when I run out of this one). Do you have any tips? I reccomend farming 1950 & 1960 conquests with countries such as Iran or Saudi-Arabia good idea except somehow all my allies fail, even the super powerful ones that have a easy job. I played as Saudia Arabia, Russian forces left Africa to engage me and the American forces stood there and didn't go after them. When I played as Iran Russia didn't help take Turkey at all so the Middle East was just dominated by NATO forces.

this is done because otherwise the game would be way to easy, it's just to challenge a bit more

For 1960- Soviets or UK Soviets- screw Africa, take the bigger of your troops to Saudia Arabia only leave artillery In Africa. Take out Turkey and the Balkans as quick as you can, move into Italy and by the time you do this you should have defeated or close to defeating the Germans. After you conquero Europe, you OP, so after that it's up to you how to conquer the world. U.K.- support until round 30. I made nukes and aircraft carriers, supporting NATO with the big guns without landing a single troop in Europe till round 30. I used nukes against Russian generals, very affective. The simple atom bomb can kill one in a single hit, or not they are very weak and can be finished with one more missile. I had 6 aircraft carriers patrol the coast of Europe with a general battleship and another aircraft carrier protecting England. The patrolling aircraft carriers had low generals on them, (3 of them had generals) and I just bombed the Russians every time they made an offensive. So soon after that, they were on the defensive and a horrible job at that. Well on defensive I mean they couldn't mad produce super tanks to charge at us again, the AI's don't have the function to action notice they've lost then retreat and hold the ground.
