Do you think he should be the strongest general. Name some generals that were better than him.

This is true. What I meant was they made similar mistakes such as invading Russia in the winter and neglecting the navy in favour of the army which meant it was impossible for either to successfully invade Britain. I don't think Napoleon had any navy experience other than sailing to Egypt.

I don't think Napoleon had any navy experience other than sailing to Egypt. Well, there was the planned invasion, but that depended on drawing the royal navy away, rather than engaging it, where Villeneuve failed utterly

The planed invastions were doomed to fail anyway, Britian wouldn't have given up and the Royal Navy would have been an ever present threat, the Royal Navy was bound to catch the French (and Germans) eventully and I'm pretty sure Britain built Semaphore towers along the coast to they could spread the word if an invastion force was spotted.

Yes, he probably should be best in the game AT LAND but I don't think he should be massively better than everyone else. Blucher, Scharnhorst, Wellington, Bagration, Archduke Charles (I think), Surov were all very good generals. I would also like to stress the GENERAL part. Not Admiral. He should have no naval stars.

England relied on her navy, the army was, and still is, weak. However, the Royal navy would be able to prevent any stable supply line, which is crucial for an invasion force. Without the royal navy, which couldn't've been dislodged, Napoleon would've been in for an easy win. By Hitler's day, control of the air would enable him to defend a supply line, but he failed to secure the air.

So he should be given like 2 navy stars and 4 stars for art cav and infantry? then players can upgrade him to 5 stars for all. give him 4 training too. Would that make him too op with assault and defense art, leadership and geography?

Would that make him too op with assault and defense art, leadership and geography? He is meant to be THE BEST. I say 5 stars training, since he formed the Grande Armee and directed its training, and 6 artillery, since he was highly formidable with his use of it

I agree with 5 stars training but I think he should stay 5 stars artillery

Plus, i don't get why easytech made him bad. I'm assuming they knew how good they made their generals when they were testing them. If he is the best, he should be better than moreau or isabella for artillery, lan or lasalle for cav and suvurov for infantry.

He's not that bad is he? I don't see him as bad but then again I normally prefer to play as the Coalition.
