Lannes. Where is my free cookie? Assault Art wins the day if it is actually activated. Him with a Ferguson Rifle and the Infantry Uniform is spectacular. Mass fire is a great skill. Leadership gives him the ability to be unaffected by morale dropping situations. Geography makes whatever unt he is on a bit similar to Light Infantry, higher mobility in different terrains and all. In conclusion, Lannes is almost unbeatable. I think only Wellesley with a Snare Drum, Surorov, Dobelin, Murat, and a few others can survive his wrath.

Lannes is a great infantry general. However, his movement starts off horrendously 😂 imo, murat would not survive lannes’ wrath, as lannes has mass fire and leadership. Any advantage murat has over other infantry generals is no longer present against lannes. Suvorov is quite decent. Nothing too special tho. With enough movement tho, he is like yamashita from wc3 I found. Victoria is better than suvorov on the other hand, as assualt art > formation. Its not a huge difference. Defense art is meh.

If I have a "hack" lot of medals I will pick Wellesley all day everyday. Bugle+Mass+Drum+Med=Thanos. But unfortunately I don't. Suvorov is an ordinary good infantry. Victoria is quite a nice option for a low cost, with decent navy potential. I personally prefer Oudinot over Dobeln because of Dobeln is not as strong when you have a lot of items. I really like AI Brock though...

I really like AI Brock though... I used dearborn with a snare drum all the time (pretty much same exact general as oudinot with architecture). He wasn’t anything special in my opinion. I do agree with wellesley. However, seeing as there are only two snare drums in the game, I’d rather give it to a cavalry general. Thats my main dilemma. I use meatshield to protect my artillery, so someone like washington or lannes who can soak up damage and have nice output in return is who I am looking for. But each person has their own playstyle. Wellesley is quite good as he takes can attack fences and takes reduced damage due to his leadership. Maybe i’ll have a playthrough of ew4 with him and davout again
