Ah thanks! I had a hard time remembering where he was from. I will add Singapore to my phone's "Wall of Clocks" lol.
I suppose that's the simplest approach, Jean-Luc Picard So we have EST, Europe (which timezones?), Singapore, Karachi, am I missing anymore? Frederick the Great is Canberran

Let me list the general grouping: America - Jean-Luc Picard (PST), Quintus Fabius (EST?, I forgot again), Von Bismarck jr (EST), me Desophaeus in CST. NYC, Chicago, SF local times for this cluster. Europe - Singlemalt, Netherlands if I'm right. Central Asia - Napoleon Bonaparte, Karachi Far East/Pacific - Frederick the Great, Canberra, Der Kaiserreich Singapore (2 hours apart from each other right now with DST)

So as I type this, we have a tied majority of 2 EST players, and 2 Pacific players, but a broader and closer together majority of American players, if I'm not mistaken. I say we base a new deadline off of San Fran time. It's currently (going west from NYC): NYC: 5:27 PM Chicago: 4:27PM San Fran: 2:27 PM Canberra: 7:28 AM Singapore: 5:27 AM Karachi: 2:26 AM And, Singlemalt if you could pleas tell me which city you live in, The Netherlands (based on The Hague): 11:28 PM

Say it's 12 PM in San Francisco. Going west around the globe, that'll be... Around 5 in Canberra 3 in Singapore Nevermind, let's try EST. 12 PM in NYC. 11 AM in Chicago, 9 AM in San Fran, 2 AM in Canberra, Not EST either.

I'm trying to find a good time zone to base things on, but regardless of where, someone is gonna have to be given a grace period.

Ok, 2 things. 1: I believe I have a solution. 2: This is a great way to up my post count. Gg. Back to the solution, though. Say it's 12 PM in Singapore. It'll be 3 PM in Canberra, 10 PM in Sanf Fran, 12 PM in Chicago, 1 AM in NYC, 6 AM in the Netherlands, 7 AM in Karachi

It'll be 3 PM in Canberra, 10 PM in Sanf Fran, 12 PM in Chicago, 1 AM in NYC, 6 AM in the Netherlands, 7 AM in Karachi Ok. So here's the deal. HYPOTHETICAL MODE ACTIVATE We'll start with the American timezones. Picard in Starfleet academy over at San Fran will have to get his in as he goes to bed, while me and Transfermium in NYC time, will have to get in ours before bed (or in bed for me because sleep is for the weak). We can give Singlemalt a grace period if needed, cause I don't know when he wakes up, hell he might sleep in till 12 like I do on Saturdays. So possible 2 hour grace period for Malt, having to turn his orders in at 8 AM. And a possible 1 hour grace period for Khuram, cause again, we don't stalk him and know when he wakes up, so his orders will be in at 8 for him as well. Singapore will be easy, due every 2 days at noon. This post is hellaciously large, so Ima just end it here by saying not sure what to do with Canberra.

If I'm getting on to something, like it. If you want to give me an A for effort, like it. If you think we should go another route, like anyway because I spent god knows how long coming up with this complicated crap. Show some respeck!

The end of the Grace Period should fall on Deso's availability hours no matter what we do.

The end of the Grace Period should fall on Deso's availability hours no matter what we do. Jean-Luc Picard is right. /\ The whole concept of a grace period is the availability of when I can be online past a deadline for late players. My first game, PreDip01, it was 11pm (midnight for EST). I could be available in the late hours on some nights, but it was a challenge. I managed to squeak by. Dip02, I wanted to be a better GM (not to mention that the # of players in a game is almost doubled), so I moved it back 5 hours, so I would also be available for a bit of time afterwards post-grace period a little before I go to bed. Von Bismarck jr, I appreciate your effort. But I will shift the deadline forward only up to 8pm CST (2 hours from now) or move it back down to some other time during the day. The more earlier I shift it backward, it becomes harder on Napoleon Bonaparte, Frederick the Great and Der Kaiserreich unfortunately (more on the two Far Easterners, less so on Napoleon Bonaparte tho).

Well for now, I am assuming we're using the same system. It's already past noon in Singapore by now. I'm processing without a build from Der Kaiserreich . He did had logged and made a reply in PM but not a submitted order during this 24 hours phase. Winter 1902 Der Kaiserreich France No build selected (NMR) Singlemalt Russia Build Army in Warsaw Build Army in Moscow Jean-Luc Picard Turkey Build Fleet in Smyrna (Middle of doing a paper for a class, I will post the map update for 3 new units on the map) Napoleon Bonaparte , Frederick the Great , Der Kaiserreich , Von Bismarck jr , Quintus Fabius , Singlemalt , Jean-Luc Picard (Might change specific hour for this) Spring 1903 deadline is Sept 27, 6pm CST Chicago time, Sept 28th 1 am for Amsterdam, 4am for Karachi, 8am Singapore, 10am Canberra. Correct me if I got the times messed up, I believe Karachi and Singapore doesn't follow DST (giving me a bit odd offset in comparison to the GMT zones for my calculations).
