I always used to , still do pronounce it as Badagolio I am not sure if I am correct but I read it as "Ba-Dol-Yo". I think it's more like "Badoyo". Anyway, you can use Google Translator

I understand this is some crazy necroposting, but I wanted to say this.
We have these classes where the students are divided into teams, each team takes a subject and they have to work on it for the next 6 months. Well, a girl quit her team, which was about "Space", because she is afraid of… aliens. Seriously, she believes that aliens have reached earth and are monitoring us. Plus she claims that her DAD told her this.

My History Professor has a great way of teaching with a lot of entertainment and chill being in it. At the start we were talking about Ancient Egypt He: "...and it owned the Nile which came from the Black Sea" Student: "Um sir, the Nile starts at the Med" *almost everyone erases Black Sea to put in Med* And then he looks at the first row on one of his favourite students "Look at her she actually wrote Black Sea"

Most of us probably wouldn't know where non-Superpower nations are.

A worse thing was when I asked a friend which nation borders with the UK. I gave her options. Russia, Canada, Ireland and Bosnia. She said Canada. That person will be a mother and an employee at a company and doesn't know Basic Geograhy let alone any other thing.

My friend who thought that Yugoslavia was Communist during WW2 Technically, this can be argued. However, during most of WW2, Yugoslavia was under Facist Nazi Germany's rule.

Well it was under occupation technically on the map but in reality the Partisans had a lot of control over Yugoslavia. And Yugo was not existing during ww2, the government capitulated quickly and puppet states were put, NDH , Chetniks and extended Bulgaria, Albania Italy and Germany, while the resistance was communist and fought off , so it was and not at the same time , but most people consider Yugoslavia to be the Partisan Uprising/Anti-Fascist Resistance
