As an American I don't know all the American states lol. We're honestly the weirdest country when it comes to that stuff. Other countries have provinces, but they all feel apart of that country. Here most people identify by state first, country second. No, not really. I identify to the US government as a whole than my states government. Hmm, your the first I've heard who has that opinion.

Another Facepalm moment for me...
Once me and my seventh grade teacher got into a debate over the capital of Switzerland. he had claimed that the answer was Zurich. I had to chime in, telling him that in fact the answer was Bern. He became irritated, claiming that I was wrong. So, I dared him to google it right then and there. (The screen was projected against the board behind him, meaning the whole class would see the answer.) He accepted my challenge. He googled it, and right there, in big, bolded letters, the board said Bern. He turned around, saw the answer, and said, and i quote; "Well I'll be damned!". The entire class proceeded to go utterly insane.
How is it that a seventh grader outsmarted a 38 year old geography teacher? Is our education system really that pathetic?

Short answer: yes, it's that pathetic

During a math class, one of the student asked the mathematics teacher how he got the value of Sin 30, without knowing the value of s, i and n. Is that the limit of craziness!?

Question: Doesn't sin is different with s, i , n algebra variable? I meant the trigonometric value 'Sin'. Search it in Google.

My brother asked me if Rome was in Europe. And also if Germany was in Asia. He is 10. When my little brother was like maybe 6, he asked are there still tanks in the world? My mom replied, yes. Then he asked, did dinosaurs have wars with tanks?

When you realise that some people can't find Chicago on a map. maybe not from america?, I am not americain and I cannot point chicago at an map And Americans are the last people to complain about that when many of them probably can't even point France on a map. (Okay that should go to the stereotype thread.)
