@khurramzafar , Laurent de Gouvion , this planned Vladivostok-Istanbul Railroad would cost a hella lot, needing for the railway in Russia to go south to the Caucasus and then across Anatolia to Istanbul, or you'd need to get Romania and the Bulgarian Principality (A vassal of the Ottomans) to agree which would also cost large amts of funds. But, the real reason why I'm talking is because the Mongol government proposes that we send some of our workers to help build the railroad and in return, we would gain help in our industrialization process. We would also like to send some government envoys and Mongolian capitalists to watch the building of the railroad to see how to build some in Mongolia. we aren't involving the Bulgars and the Romanians. The line will have to pass through the Caucasus and then into Kurdistan

I don't think Qing needs a player. It'd make sense for you to do a 1901 event to buff them, instead of actually playing as them you're right. Qing won't be able to focus on these many fronts anyway. Might just give them 100000+ troops and guns. It should be 200,000+, as that was the base Qing strength throughout the century. Jean-Luc Picard, @coolguy14, if you aren't going to play as NPC Qing, I'd be glad to. I think Qing would resist, and that it would also lose.

It is my belief that such a giant colonial effort would cause at least a short war. The Government allowed the Intervention IRL because the punishment was low, much lower. What say you, Laurent de Gouvion ? You want somebody guiding Qing, or do we just give it an army?

Imperial RomeBall playing as Qing raises another problem: He knows all our war plans. that's a good point! He knows where the attacks will come from and he can defend himself easily with that knowledge

Imperial RomeBall playing as Qing raises another problem: He knows all our war plans. Yeah, well 600,000 Qing won't be able to win even with the war plans. Not that my brain even has memory space. 5 years ago, Japan fought 600,000 Qing and won with only 200,000. Most of that army was not killed, so I imagine China can still call up such a large army. Fighting Authentic Europeans with possible reinforcements mean the result will likely be the same.

Why are you withdrawing from Taiwan? I get withdrawing from Korea temporarily but why Taiwan? You've had that land since 1895 and have been able to crush Taiwanese reprisals. Jean-Luc Picard threatened war with Japan because he mentioned that he had enforced an ideology onto the people of Formosa. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just letting you know what happened in the anti-Boxer&anti-Qing coalition. Italy, thanks for explaining.

I have to agree, Taiwan should be Japanese, but whatever.
I'd like to believe a French administration would be kinder to the natives. Heck, it probably will be. But it will still be harsh.
Of course, even the Chinese were harsh, so whatever.
