So I shall not make rules. I'm so confused, what do you people want? We want a freeform RP. best75 isn't joining this series of RPs because he prefers the structure of Dip and TW, but that's not the point of the Alternate Storyline RPs Whatever you guys want. I'm not going to gripe around about this game. Honestly I believe that you guys can simply choose the way you want me to manage this, because it is just a game. |

Can we start if we don't get France? Or should a country having no colonies take France? @coolguy14 That seems more like a last resort... I think people would prefer that I take France before that, so... |

Is anyone taking France? Because that's the only country we need? Jean-Luc Picard COUNTRY SWAP! he now has USA and I have the Ottoman Empire. In the last game it was the opposite France is definitely required. I definety agree. For the sake of having a balance of power I definety think we need a France before we start. |

The Mediterranean and the Balkan are going to be pretty silent without these four.

No Serbia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Italy. The Mediterranean and the Balkan are going to be pretty silent without these four. That's one reason I will not let the RP begin until at least Wednesday. |

I would personally be fine if we don't get an Italian player. As the Italians just kept fighting Austria in the mountains until Austria gave up.

Well... We don't really have enough to start until we get those 4 slots filled. I say we act on 1 of 3 possibilities:
1. We simply wait until all slots are filled. This could take awhile.
2. We make all of the countries NPCs...
3. We combine them based on alliance system: Greece can take control of Serbia and other Entente Balkans, and A-H can have the Central Power Balkans.

We get rid of Japan, but that only fills one of the slots... 3. We combine them based on alliance system: Greece can take control of Serbia and other Entente Balkans, and A-H can have the Central Power Balkans. Don't get rid of Japan. Unless that player wants to play as another country I don't think it's fair on him. I have a feeling Asia might be a more important area in this timeline. You could always make other countries NPCs. |

Greece takes Serbia Rumania goes to Russia (in 1916 and 1917 they were pretty reliant on Russia) Bulgaria goes to the Ottoman Empire (why? Because no other ally of Bulgaria is this close to it than the Ottomans). Oh! And you can't annex these countries |

And even of we're done with the Balkan, France and Italy would be still left.
I suggest making Italy an NPC.
