So I achieved a strategic goal - conquered 155 cities, increasing daily rewards up to 400 medals ... I play since Nov 20, so it took more than 2 months... Congrats. Did you happen to take note of the earlier milestones? It's something I wish I'd known in the beginning and would be useful to newcomers - or anyone crazy enough to try and complete the game more than once I will definitely describe some steps in the future, but for now I don't know for sure whether or not my idea (a team based on 3 Cav Commanders) is valid.

Very off-topic: I have absolutely no knowledge of chinese, but I am fascinated that Caesar's name has only two symbols, and Edward's has six :-) (Just in case someone here is versed, I would like to know...)

I like the fact, that many of my first team generals are blue, and therefore cheap to upgrade...

By milestones I meant specifically the no. of cities needed to unlock new daily missions. It's something I wasn't aware of until I'd been playing a while and the only threads I found at the time discussed the last 2 or 3 increases but I never saw anything on say the jump from 3 to 4 missions, but perhaps I just didn't look in the right place?

Funny thing is that ET has stopped upgrading WC4, but still continues to upgrade EW5. Version V1.3.6 is out (https://dl.ieasytech.com.cn/EW5/) I'm curious what they could add this time...

In fact there was such a thread, but I can't recall its name.

I was always interested in infAntry, sure they can be mauled by cavalry, but they are fun to use imo I only use Richard becAuse he can heal FAST with logistics don't really like generals that can't heal FAST very much, I use those for c a campaign It is a sound strategy, but there should be always a balance between attack and defense. Logistics is a great defensive skill, but as Winston Churchill said (after Dunkirk): "Evacuations do not win the wars". So you should think also how to improve attacking potential at the same time... I would agree. Logistics is a great skill for conquests but not as good for campaigns.

After thinking for a long time, I've decided finally what my team will be this time:
I believe this team has: 1. An excellent attacking potential. 2. A decent defensive potential. 3. Two new faces for the possibile final line-ups.
So here it is: Atilla-Suleiman-Edward-Blucher Moctezuma-Li Hongzhang Khalid-Heihachiro

Pretty similar to the one I had in mind though: Atilla, Suleiman, Edward, Blucher Yi Sun-Sin, Nelson Khalid/Cleo/Barbarossa I might keep Saladin instead of getting Suleiman now though...

Ok, I actually agree that it is boring. I already have Atilla, Edward and Suleiman, and this trio is so powerful that it is not exciting at all to advance through ages. Maybe, you are right... I think it over and possibly reinstall the game. I have another idea in mind: a team with 3 new faces - Lionheart, Petain and Xerxes... P.s. Actually Khalid and Heihachiro are two Art. Commanders so maybe your suggestion was Arch instead of ArtCom, wasn't it? Well, in this case I will think it over as well...

EW5 is not an easy game. Your moves (using Chess terminology) have to be solid, even if you don't mind to take a risk here and there. To play with blue/grey generals only is not a challenge (in any meaning of this word), but a bad move doomed to failure, imo. You can keep one or two of them save in a solid team, but I doubt that it is possible to build a team around them...

I can't tell how serious you're being there Is it a powerful trio already? How good is Suleiman? I have to say I'm finding CavCom pretty tough so far, well towards the end of Empire age & the start of Discovery anyway; I don't find Edward that useful yet, but I'm hoping he'll come good later on when sufficiently upgraded... I miss Nobunaga too! I'm sure I would at least have completed more Battles by now with him in the team, and Defence missions too. Oh, and imo you can't claim ArtCom unless you have 4 artilleries
