A real challenge is always cool I can't say that nowadays I'm free as a bird either, so I suppose we are in more or less equal conditions. Suleiman is a quite expensive toy, so we definitely have plenty of time ahead of us The race is on then I almost wish I hadn't bought Suleiman, I upgraded to Gunpowder sooner than expected and don't have the medals to upgrade anyone - I've only done Atilla so far. But of course I may not have got the necessary literature to upgrade when I did without him. I'm at 125 cities and the first British Empire campaign btw. In fact I think Saladin can easily replace Suleiman. My guess we bought Suleiman for scientific reasons only

At least Suleiman gets the -40% damage at max rank. But I guess his stats at lvl 6 should be quite nice.

Friedrich “Fried Rice” PaulusCavalry's biggest headache are archers, and Saladin has a 50% damage reduction from them at lvl 6. So they both are very close in this respect. Besides Saladin has Logistics. But Suleiman has the best defense in the game providing that we have enough resources for necessary upgrades But,as I said before, the main reason behind choosing Suleiman is the simple fact that he is the only one golden general who never was in someone's final lineup. Blucher is anyway, I suppose, in our future plans because he fits very well into any Cavalry lineup. Btw, Iron Duke, we are very close at the moment... I have 125 cities as well but completed British campaign. Not started yet Gunpowder age campaigns. I can only hope that your new employer will keep you busy enough for the next couple of months

I would personally rather have a -40% debuff against everything, as generals such as Bismarck and Lincoln could also be a pain to fight with cavarly. And I see why you are using Suleimann. The russian youtuber Blaskowicz also uses him. I have 124 cities haha, so close.

The russian youtuber Blaskowicz also uses him. I have 124 cities haha, so close. That's an interesting question, to tell the truth... Actually in some strategic games like chess, for example, there is a concept of "leaving space behind". The difference between Attila on one side and Suleiman and Saladin on the other side is that Attila will loose nothing at lvl 6 (gaining additional damage bonus against infantry), but Suleiman and Saladin will loose all bonuses against Infantry while gaining some new useful skills. As we should have the right balance in the team between attack and defense we have to take into account who already is in our team. For example, the last time I had two healers and Blucher in the team, therefore all defensive bonuses at lvl 6 were not especially valuable to me. On the other hand attack bonuses were very important because Attila and Black Prince could refill the rage bar more quickly. So it is always a good idea to analyze how good your generals can work in synergy with each other...

You can easily remove this handicap (2 legendary items) by completing one Gunpowder age conquest (Keel sword) and one special chapter in Discovery age (Paladin boots). So my advantage is a couple of hours at best

I thought it only fair to let you know I bought Suleiman the other day, so if you want to be the first here to complete the game with him then I guess the race is on I started a new job recently so I won't have as much time to play and don't expect to be too quick, but if you take too long don't say I didn't warn you A real challenge is always cool I can't say that nowadays I'm free as a bird either, so I suppose we are in more or less equal conditions. Suleiman is a quite expensive toy, so we definitely have plenty of time ahead of us Sooooo... Did you finish already?

To be honest, I've lost my interest a bit, so all that I'm doing now is a half hearted farming (maybe once in 2 or 3 days), but I can come back anytime from my voluntarily semi-retirement

I'm almost done: just Rio, Volgograd, and two annoying missions in Osaka for the Keel boots (oh and levels 5&6 conquests @ 2 & 3* if we're counting those?) I expect Rio shortly, not so confident on Volgograd & Osaka though.
