Anyway, a bit of a tip on character progression:
Once you've done a diceroll on something hard (like beating a skilled duelist), you automatically get a buff. You've established that your character is better than that duelist, or at least have learned something.

Appearance Dark Blonde hair shaven at the sides, Pale White skin, tall, lanky, skinny, Deep Blue Eyes. II. Strengths and Weaknesses + Personality An intellectual, loves strategy. Not physically weak, but not strong either. Prefers to keep to himself in the crow's nest. Doesn't care about honor, war is war. Fluent in both French and English. III. Background (Upbringing, character motivation, etc.) Originally born in Amiens, France in 1784, he took part late in the French Revolution as an early teenager, even attending Robespierre's execution. But upon the rise of Napoleon, when he was 15, him and his family fled across the channel to Glasgow, thinking the wrath of the British wouldn't be as bad as The Emperor's, especially with the Scots and Irish around. I didn't find anything about a seniority system in the French Navy (as opposed to the RN), but I guess I could make you equivalent to a sub-lieutenant. Or just lieutenant. Whatever you choose. |
