Still on the Minerve sailing back to France. I tried talking to the prisoners in the ship but it seems they do not want to talk. All of them were portugese expect one. Matthew Flinders, really interesting fellow I heard he was the first to circumnavigate Australia. The french nav could really use a guy like him. hopefully the prisoners will be dumped off in France soon. Its been a boring time here, still at peace with the British. We may get a few merchant ships here and there but there is no glory in beating these merchant ships.I hope to enter battle with the British and earn true glory.

1910 Anno Domini (Rule Britannia)
I'm a second lieutenant on the HMS Ceylon, out of Chennai. Things started out well, though the rains and leaving the wenches port dismay the crew a bit. Seems like a fairly good bunch. Guess Impressment isn't so bad out here.
One day I meet Josias Rowley. Rolling for how that goes.
mWSTk8Y7
Goes surprisingly well considering our rank difference. I even hear of his family. We talk about his opinion on Gunnery and it seems my duties may soon involve that.
Two men are flogged for fighting. Both of them are almost 12 summers old. Rolling for whether this upsets or positively sobers the crew.
...I'm going to say the crew isn't too happy with this.
We are assigned to protect a convoy. A Brig of 18 guns joins us to protect over a dozen merchantmen. Rolling for French attack. Minimum of 8.
I'm going to say the trip was uneventful. ····

Lieutenant Burges' Journal January 1st, 1810 After a couple years work, I've been assigned to the HMS Diana as a lieutenant. We'll be patrolling the Channel, something bound to be eventful being so close to my homeland. The Englishman haven't been very kind, but I'm not too worried about it anymore. It's nothing a duel can't fix, rapiers or pistols.
January 7th, 1810. We're about to set sail. My peer, Alexander Harmon, appears to be the son of someone in the high command, or maybe an aristocrat somewhere. Just another Englishman. There are a few Scots and Irishmen, though, so this voyage isn't without benefits. The Diana is an impressive thing, it is. 38 Guns, plenty of cargo space, word is the chef is a mastermind. Hopefully, all will go well.

The one country's army has a cook of tremendous skill. Why? Because he is a god. Interesting. So even Pro-British Frenchmen like the Scots. Well my character is Scottish!

Personally I would have preferred that he just edit his turn instead of so many posts, but thats my selfishness talking. Let others do as they want. Its not an assault on my style. YET. Jk. Edit: OOC
