The golden tier is full of tank generals for us to consider while its artillery gens is only Konev. Not including IAP Zhukov I am not sure what easytech were thinking leaving us with only Konev. Maybe they don't like artillery generals?

Maybe they don't like artillery generals? Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. There should be 2-3 gold tier artillery generals. Govorov is the only other general in the game with even the potential for six stars on artillery skill. Unbelievable.

Look at the video of War Master I just checked several of his videos and found that - check 1:40 Yamamoto triggers Fleet Leader skill several times during the video. But he has Air strike leader skill not Fleet Leader. Is it a bug in the description of Yamamoto's skill, wrong icon? And probably in reality he's got Fleet leader not Air strike leader. Have no idea whether he triggers it in other missions because had no time to check through all the videos. But it could be checked whether his air strike leader skill triggers at all when assigned for the land unit.

actually Yamamoto got two skills left to add so I added fleet leader Serious damage with just level1 Sailor. Means leader skill alone is quite goid boost. Maybe Rumor instead Sailor would be better?

It's not permanent. You also get refunded part of the medals you spent but not all. Works a lot like trading in a general. You aren't going to want to switch skills in and out all the time because of the medal sink, but you don't have to dismiss the general and start over if you picked a bad skill like you did with the custom generals in WC3.

Rumor is a great choice on naval generals, but it does not trigger on air strikes. So if you put Yamamoto in a carrier, he can only trigger Rumor if an enemy hits him and he retaliates, although same applies to Sailor. If you are using him in cruisers, Rumor is a good skill. I prefer it to Sailor because the reality of naval battles is that the enemy is going to focus your weakest ships first. Sailor isn't going to trigger much unless you are down to your general or he is off on his own.

Most likely air strike leader trigers on both navy and air for the simple reason of air carriers...

In this game they are much weaker because the tank guys are catching them up and they have nothing to run faster.

I think the cause is the health increase from general is based on a percentage instead of a base number. This change benefits tank gens the most since tanks have lots of health while this is not good for artillery gens since artillery have small amount of health.

I don't mind them making artillery more of a "glass canon" type unit, but if they are going to do that, they need to make them hit a little harder. Artillery don't hit much harder than tanks of equal level, and tanks get more than double the health. Makes it hard to talk yourself into artillery, particularly when heavy tanks are available and artillery lose range advantage. It feels like howitzers in particular have lost value. They used to pack more of a punch in WC3.
