As I remember, most of work in this battle was done by carriers and you have just some land units to take cities after carriers with the help of cruisers clear the path. It's quite boring to drop 7 bombs each turn, but that's effective. |

TBH with enough ships, this mission isn't too much of a problem. I probably failed this 5 times from being greedy since I would only put my cruisers and supercarriers in, but with just 2 double-stacked destroyers and 4 triple-stacked submarines, it makes a super huge difference.
I used 4 super tanks, 2 triple-stacked heavy tanks as land units. Navy generals were Nimitz and Kuznetsov (on cruisers), tank generals Guderian and Vatutin (on super tanks).
Enemy navy AI is really bad in this one. They'll always target your weaker ships, so you can steamroll them with decent enough tech and enough meat shields. Guderian and Vatutin were more than enough.
Ended up losing both destroyers, two submarines, two super tanks and one heavy tank.
Biggest lesson learned from this mission: Don't be afraid to lose ships.

For this mission I suggest just killing troop by troop to conserve health and using generals with high rumor (1 naval gen is fine too). Destroy the battleship and make the landing zone for the 2 triple stacked heavy tanks, destroy Yamamoto, land your troops, then finally blitz into the port when Nagumo comes out.
Make sure you don't destroy the coastal artillery on top of the Philippines until you land your tank on that spot. Or else Terauchi will go on that spot. Also, when your ship's health goes down, move them away from danger. I lost no units when I did this mission.
I used Guderian, Rommel, Konev, and Nimitz with 3/4 tech.

What should I do I’m stuck on this, I finished the challenges and famous generals, and I’m stuck on the scenarios as well. How do I grind medals? I’m trying to get Rommel. Also, who is better? Roko or Rommel?

But Roko has more tank skills. Well that doesn't matter cuz he's skills are trash (not really). Rommel has 6th star and have armored assault which is the best tank skill. |

Roko has sixth star as well. Even when fully upgraded, he's skill set isn't the best. The 3 best tank skills are armored assault, blitzkrieg, and rumor. Rommel can have all 3 of these while Roko will only have 2. Just saying, Panzer leader is good but isn't the best. |

Nope on WTO and NATO 5. For conquest achievements: 3 star, 1980, 2 star, 1939, 1 star, 1943. Also, I did 2 star 1943 but I did not do 2 star 1939 so it doesn’t count.
