Nope on WTO and NATO 5. For conquest achievements: 3 star, 1980, 2 star, 1939, 1 star, 1943. Also, I did 2 star 1943 but I did not do 2 star 1939 so it doesn’t count. Just saying if u did 2 star 1943 but didn't do 2 star 1939, u get the achievement as soon as you do 2 star 1939 so it does count. So yea. Do all the conquests possible and upgrade your tech. |

And say which country I should do. The Library should be colour coded so pick your favourite. ROC 1939 if you can play very well or just go for Spain and plan your African campaign properly. And if you've any more questions not concerning this Battle, you may post them in the Library or a new thread. |

I’m still stuck. I lost 24 cruisers, 36 subs, and 12 destroyers so far. Should I concentrate my navel power in one region?

That's geographically not possible when trying to go around the Philippines from either end. The better way is still to take the initiative in the north while assisting Nimitz in the south, IMO. IF your fleets get sunk too easily, I suggest grinding for navy tech upgrades. |

Um would an air general like Arnold help? And how do I pass this mission with only Nimitz(rumor lvl 3 and explosives lvl 1), Rommel(lvl 3 rumor), Manstein on a carrier, and Guderian on the super tank?

IIRC, I did it with Guderian on aircraft carrier or super carrier. The rest on ships. By the way, I believed I had Messe deployed as well due to his 1* navy (without upgrades). Use Rumour. If you fail with lvl 3 on most or all gens, return when you have lvl 5 Rumour. Don't waste Nimitz's 6* in navy for less useful *s in air. Except for air and sub attacks, he can counter everything thrown at him by the Japanese navy when placed on Cruisers. You won't see the same effectiveness if he is on a carrier.
It has been a long time, however, if you sink the enemy navy entirely and use your navy to wipe out the Japanese ground troops, there's no point in deploying gens on the troop carriers. It's quite wasteful if you did because they are absolutely useless and extremely until you land those tanks. And you should only land when the coast is literally clear which will be near the end of your time limit. About Arnold, I can only say that I used Guderian without any air upgrades for air support. This shows that you can still do it without good air cover, however, I believe my tech should be highly upgraded at that point. If you are investing in air gen not just for this Battle, but for the rest of the game, I'd argue for his more expensive counterpart, Yamamoto. Either gen can still provide the much needed air support during and beyond this Battle, but I prefer Yamamoto more. |

You can invest in Arnold later on in the game. Your generals are fine. Try to get Konev and upgrade his rumor. Also put the generals with the highest rumors on the cruisers. For me, I placed Konev, Rommel, Guderian, and Nimitz on the Cruisers and Rommel on the super tank. |

I used my konev on a sub for rumor, Arnold on a super carrier, Guderian and Rommel on super heavies, and Nimitz on a cruiser. This way eventually did work, as I rumor locked Nagumo and got a half health Guderian to the island.

Should I spend my medals on upgrading Nimitz and Rommel's rumor to lvl 4? So I will be deploying Guderian, Nimitz, and Rommel on cruisers and Manstein on a supercarrier? BTW, I have Konev and his rumor is lvl 4 |

Nobunaga Oda, should I concentrate all my naval forces in the north to wipe out Yamamoto? And then swing behind the Philippines to take out Nagumo? And the super heavies will land when Yamamoto is gone, right?
