Konev isn't to hard to get, if you can manage his challenge. I don't know his price, so let's say it's 2500. 40% off and it's 1500, you get 800 from the start. I believe you get 300 for A rank in conquest, and if you play as finland, spain and germany, you get 300 more. And after playing like, 5 campaigns then you'll end up with 1500+ medals(easier said then done, I didn't even dare to try since I am still a beginner. Will try in like, 3 days or so  ) I'm sure Singlemalt can give some good advices (if needed) on how to get Konev... |

I agree its not harsh to get konev. He was my first general.
However, ifi would restart I wont do it like that.
Konev/artillery is very fulnerable. I would get messe and aave for guderain (my 3th general), he is fantastic. Konev will be great but not before some good artillery and general upgrades

He is good second armored general, but not that good |

There is a noticeable drop off from Guderian to Rommel. Crossfire isn’t a bad skill, but it doesn’t help you one-shot enemies on the attack. Desert is pretty hard to find outside of North Africa. You definitely want Panzer Leader as one of Rommel’s open ability slots. You probably want Blitzkrieg as the other. Guderian starts with those and Armored Assault, which are the three best tank abilities. So you can get Plain Fighting and Explosives or some other damage boosting skill. You can find Plains everywhere, and you are most often using tank generals to attack cities. So those damage boosts make a big difference. |

Well, doesn't hurt to try, does it? It never does If I succeed then that would be great But I have heard from many players that Rommel missions are the hardest so I am a bit worried. War Master, is it possible to to this without generals? |

Generals are important for Rommel missions. The first is ok. Second one is a pain in the a**. Third one need to be calculate and move slowly.
