I'm planning to buy Konev as 3rd gen. After Timoshenko and Nimitz. What about you, I think it's not worth to buy Guderian now when almost for the same price you can buy Rommel and Nimitz. Sure, Rommel is not as good as Guderian, but he's not so bad for infantiry and art and also Nimitz is much better than Guderian in sea, which helps very much in naval invasions and in scenarios where you don't have ships he can be used for air raids.

Just buy guderian or you will need to farm conquest and overpower everything with tech

I see one more important point in favour of Guderian... It it a psychological one. It would be very difficult to save other 3000 medals again very soon.

I got Guderian now, I'll have to try him out tomorrow. Now I have another Konev question:
Do I save 1400 medals for Konev or do I get a Navy general? It'd probably be Nimitz.

Nimitz for naval then. Nagamo if you can't pass Nimitz Mission. He is a weaker version of Nimitz without af and weaker movement
Edit : get a navy general to farm invasions for medals for a artillery general. Navy invasions are more difficult as you tend to run out of time for the 12 medals Missions

I got Guderian now, I'll have to try him out tomorrow. Now I have another Konev question: Do I save 1400 medals for Konev or do I get a Navy general? It'd probably be Nimitz. You definitely need one (probably even two) good Navy Commander. He is also indispensable for daily Invasions as well. But on the other hand it is possible to complete even Pacific missions on hard level without a Navy general. |

I say 1st konev
I ise him as infantery and artillery general in daily medal missions.. also on land in campaign modus he is usefull..
Naval guy after konev is my opinion

I have a recommendation. Vatutin. Artillery generals are not going to get you through the campaign, tanks will. So I recommend vatutin as you can buy him now or soon. That or you can wait for a better tank general.. If you are able to get further with what you have.

My only gens are Messe and Leeb. I got Nimitz with 40% discount with Timoshenko only, as I remember, that wasn't so difficult. With Leeb and Messe that have to be easier. May be you have low HQ level? |
