It's quite impossible for me to beat all of Rommel's and Nimitz' battles right now. My only gens are Messe and Leeb. I got Nimitz with 40% discount with Timoshenko only, as I remember, that wasn't so difficult. With Leeb and Messe that have to be easier. May be you have low HQ level? To be honest I haven't tried his battles, only the first one. They look tough and I don't have many naval units built. |

You havent read this thread have you... Plus, he got Guderian so no need for another tank anytime soon I just realized I got 1100 medals in two days to get Guderian lol. Don't overestimate your success  These were probably the last easy medals for you  |

And don't put too much hope in Guderian in his present conditions... He needs upgrades and medals to be a beast...

Unlike WC3 in WC4 quite many levels, which look hard initially, are really easy, as quite often AI makes really dumb things. I don't remember exactly, which level was that, possibly Nimitz's 40% discount level: 2 gens in super battleships were protecting 2 ports. And when you capture on of the ports, second gen runs to kill unit, which is in that port, but don't recaptures it after. Other units don't recapture empty port after that too. So all you have to do is capture one port and than capture other while it is unprotected, and by that time kill one more carrier. I didn't know about that, so I attacked second gen too, and some 50% hp I took from that gen, also I didn't hurry with killing carrier gen as I thought that it would take quite a long time to kill second gen, also I bought some subs to protect captured port, which I don't need (enemies just killed them but haven't captured empty port). If I knew about this features, that could be much more easy. So just try and find appropriate strategy. If you don't have resources to buy units for those battles, earn them autofarming blitzkrieg. No gens or tech upgrades required, just start level, turn autoplay on and that's it. Now, with 3 gens you can also try some other levels with bigger reward. |

Guderian is working great so far. I'd love to upgrade him but I need a Navy general ASAP. As it stands, G-man is doing ~135 damage per hit and his Blitzkrieg seemingly triggers every turn.

For naval gen Nimitz seems nice, he is only ~200 medals and quite nice combat ability. Enough to takecare of Iwo jima and dieppe. |

Ouch I just completed a Spain conquest so I was able to build some super carriers and replenish my cruisers and destroyers. I just need to rebuild my subs and I can try again with stronger units this time. |

I got vatatutin and Messe at the moment and enough medals to buy konev at the 40% of, worth it or always save for guderian? a shame I spent 450 medals today on technology wonders :-(
Can medals btw be changed from general? I haven't got one at the moment yet but too lazy to search, otherwise I could always use vatatutin with some medals in the beginning
