A big French/Spanish army/fleet overruns tiny Sardinia-Piedmont
I don't think I even have to roll the dice but since this is the first attack I'll do it 9lYxRpat ···

Operation:Caída de Roma is commenced. Spanish-French Armada sails to Sicily to claim it in the name of Spain. Spanish Battalion prepares to raid Rome in the dead of the night, surprising the defenders and increasing odds of success. French army marches into Piedmont suddenly and using the element of surprise, begins fighting Italian troops. Success against Sicily: Anything below 7 prevents French troops from arriving to the battle quickly, delaying the attack pvm5pVDF
Success against Rome attack: Below an 8, Rome is well prepared for an attack, incurring Spanish casualties and may cause a temporary retreat
And finally the unexpected March on Piedmont: Anything below a 5 causes French troops to underestimate Italian numbers, causing many casualties and a temporary retreat
How's that?·····

Unfortunately, Roman defenses were not caught off guard and has now caused a stalemate with Spanish troops although with now supply line, they may have to retreat.

French troops push farther south. Since there are many different nations in this region the French only need to have something over 4 in order to win 3EKUfH9Y ·

The French troops reach Rome and start besieging it. The French commander is tired and give the commando to Spain, Mountbatten you control my army now.

I actually like that format. Instead of having one person do the dice rolling, just do it yourself and put a number condition decided by different factors. Weather, Enemy strength, and other things. I set the numbers differently as Piedmont was caught off guard and should have been easily defeated hence the 5. Rome is a major city so even with the surprise attack, it was still an 8 requirement.
