I shall support the union, because if I support the confederacy, than I won't get war with the French (which I need).

Guys, we still need the CSA, that's why I don't want huge wars like taking out the Sardinains right off the bat. So I'd ask that you guys don't invade Sardinia and wait until the war begins. You can do all the diplomatic shoot you want, just no military actions.

Lannes can command my forces for half a day and I'll command Confederates the other half. So, from now until now+12 hours Lannes is in charge. Saxony, Hessen (upper),Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Oldenburg and Saxe-Weimar-Eisensach have joined Prussia.
I am forming the North German Confederation slowly.

Okay, here are two of my three turns for the day:
1.The Union mobilizes and men from Syracuse to San Diego are being recruited. They move south toward Western Virginia (Modern day West Virginia) and attack Fredericksburg.

Lincoln, seeing that the world may choose the confederate side, releases the emancipation proclamation early so as to dissuade more European powers from joining the confederates. The Union navy blockades major southern ports.
2.The Union starts to develop ironclad ships. The ships will be used to blockade the confederates.·
