Mentored Adolf Hitler in his early political life. 3.Gave the twenty-five points of the German Worker's Party's manifesto along with Hitler It's Anton Drexler. Who's next? That's quite a tough and obscure one, indeed. 1. He was once a Commander-in-Chief of Middle East Command and had exerted direct command of the Eighth Army. 2. He laid the groundwork for the final Allied victory through a key victory / stalemate in the face of poor odds and defeat. 3. His most notable achievements included his long career in of the military forces of and in India.

Monty was involved with the Irish War of Independence.

Nope. Monty was hardly involved with India. Monty was involved with the Irish War of Independence. Haig? Interesting answer, but he's not "Butcher" Haig. Additional clues: 1. Some or most of his greatest achievements were centered around the Mediterranean and Middle East. 2. These achievements were earned during WW2. 3. His actions assisted one of his successors directly, which enabled the Axis to be ultimately defeated in these same parts of the war.
