I was the second to "follow the sun" by sea until it was impossible. I died abroad & my body (according to Wiki) was never found. One of my more, if not most, famous ship was my flagship which I renamed mid-journey as I crossed the seven seas.

Here's another clue: For my most famous achievement, I received knighthood from the Queen herself aboard my ship. My most famous prize is a Spanish Treasure ship.

In 1941 a german battleship started its first and last offensive operation to th North Atlantic sea, lasting only 8 days. It was the biggest ship built by Germany (one of the biggest ever built by a European nation) and was named after a great german statesman of the 19th century. In the battle of the Denmark strait it destroyed the mighty HMS Hood. After a relentless pursuit by the British Navy the german battleship sunk 2 day later. Ironically it’s nemesis were obsolescent Fairey Swordfish biplane torpedo bomber. What’s the name of that ship?

Born in Egypt in 1894. Served in the German Army in WWI and was awarded the Iron Cross. Made his first and only parachute jump aged 47 from a solo flight of a Messerschmitt 110. A high ranking Nazi, he died in Berlin and the official cause of death was suicide.

Does anyone else want to set a question?
It appears that Marshal is unavailable again.

Does anyone else want to set a question? It appears that Marshal is unavailable again. I was a laicized Bishop and became a politician. Due to a handicap I walked with a limp. Later many called me „the lame devil“. During my lifespan I served a republic, a dictator, an emperor and a king. Most of those I served distrusted me but found me extremely useful. My name has become a byword for crafty, cynical diplomacy.
