I am not obsessed with 5 stars but i do agree that IE was very tough but it had a lot of good generals to help. Invasion of brittain was also tough I think Invasion of Britain is tough simply because the Brits know how to stubbornly resist. IMO, in Imperial Eagle, the hardest is either Coalition Disruption or Invasion of North America 1, (I haven't unlock Invasion of North America 2 yet). I got that with 2 stars. After i finish all campaigns ill play the old mission to get more stars to test myself. The Brits at that time had the best fleet and best economy in the world so no wonder they didnt hesitate when it came to action 😉

I think RoA is tough because you can only spawn the weaker units, e.g. no heavy cavalry or grenadiers etc.

You'd need to find ways to null the enemies Supply aka make smart moves and bring more dammage to them. So over time you'd be even. Example do 100 dammage worth of gold per turn while you make 50 and the enemy makes 80. One time you'd neutralize and win with the weaker units.

Druze Tito is right , its a different kind of warfare so u cant use the heavy guys here. Its very different than fighting IE or HRE. Although IE and HRE were tough i find american campaign difficult and its taking me more time than the others

The final IE missions about America were not too tough for me. I believe I got 4 or 5 stars on my first attempt. Three Emperors is early in the campaign and first time players will taste their first real roadblock in the game. Like I said, months were lost on Three Emperors. Eventually through trial and error I became a better player.

Three Emperors was my only blockade till America and then the Naval Missions of SNS where I was not aware of the trade ports which I could use to get food. IE was not that challenging except Austerlitz/Three Emperors but is difficult on both Coalition and IE

I just got to peninsular landing in ROA. Im begining to hate this campaign and now that it is beyound historical sense even more.im starting to think that no matter how hard HRE and IE were i loved to play those campaigns. This one is very frustrating

This one is very frustrating All the campaigns are historical to a certain point but then switch to hypothetical. Like the French campaign once it gets to a certain point (Waterloo, if Napoleon won) where it flips and you start conquering everybody (Battle of Britain, America landings)

And I’m right here not playing the game anymore (Save file error + IAP gens can’t be restored) and I still think invading the entirety of France in one mission is just pure nightmare after all these years...

You mean War of Glory? That was okay for me, but I did have Döbeln, Sophia, Kate & a random gen at the time. The worst would've been the blitzkrieg missions, like that one campaign where Prussia has to invade ALL its neighbours with its only support being a tiny & weak Oldenburg.

Im currently trying to invade france with the “mighty” us army in road to hell mission.if that wasnt enough i have to invade parts of germany and austria also with no more than 5 weak units as a start. I feel your pain!!

I can't get past imperial eagle. for beginers, coalition is easier. Imperial eagle is pretty easy at the start, but after battle of jena, it is much harder

I voted IE as found it most difficult so far. Still have America and SNS so stay tuned. It might not be so hard but it is one of the starting campaigns. Plus, it is waaaay harder then coalition

Hey. Curious to see what you guys think is the hardest campaign. Probably French Eagle, especially considering the fact that it is in the beginning of the game.
