I’m sure you could find a use for him. I’m curious to see how well a max Machinist plays with the medal. I have the medal but have not adopted the ability for any of my generals. I’m guessing it will make a general feel rather invincible if you can gonpark him in a city with good supply depot and maybe a field hospital for a few turns. You’d be looking at more than 50hp regenerated per turn in a city with a field hospital, level three supply depot and max Machinist ability. That said, is Graziani an optimal choice? Doubtful. At least through 1950 conquests and Cold War scenarios, there are better tank commanders available who will help you complete objectives faster. Doubtful indeed. But it never was my point. I formulated my position at the very beginning of this thread. I will try to find use for Graziani within those limited conditions. I never said that he is a shining star. All what I'm waiting is how good he can fill in the gaps in my team before I can hire top players for every position. So the question is wether or not this approach is valid and viable... I am sure it is viable. Graziani is a really good general.

Well, I'm eager to see whether my considerations are correct or not... I wouldn't say that it Graziani's achievement alone :0), but first omens are good

Did you get the great wall by buying him?

Did you get the great wall by buying him? As one rule of informal logic says: "After that doesn't mean because of that" :0) But I get Great wall AFTER I bought him:0) Honestly, I will be able to say something good/bad about him after weeks if not months of play...

So, what's your opinion on him so far?

So, what's your opinion on him so far? Too early to judge... I would like to upgrade his skills a bit to see his real potential. Btw, I never payed attention, but there are many mountains in WC4 😊

To early to judge... I would like to upgrade his skills a bit to see his real potential. Btw, I never payed attention, but there are many mountains in WC4 😊 BTW, how did you get the medals? I thought it would be difficult, but there are many opportunities to earn medals. For example, I completed today all Supply missions. It was unheard of in WC3 to do it within 2-3 weeks! I played many campaigns (some on hard level). And you know, there are some interesting observations: every general helps to get another one... So there us a chain: Messe - all Europe missions - Vatutin - 40% discount for Konev - Konev - Pacific missions normal - Graziani. And I still have a great potential in conquests! Only played 1939. And my technology is a joke. But now I have all Invasions buildings, so there will be another source in the future...

Well, first results are disappointing, I should admit... Graziani is not a bad General, but he is not a general who sovles problems and wins battles either.
1. In his primary role as a tank Commander he is significantly weaker Vatutin, and though he has Ace forces, Vatutin gains experience quicker, for experience is connected to damage. 2.In his role as an Infantry General he can be replaced by Konev with ease in Invasions and with the same results more or less. 3. In his role as navy Commander he is only marginally better than Messe, he can win some 5 medals Invasions, but nothing more. Messe can do the same.
I do not want to make rush decisions, but the chances are high that I will buy Guderian or a couple - Navy general (Nimitz, Nagumo, Mountbatten) + Leeb instead of him...

Now I can dismiss Graziani for 3000 medals and buy Guderian instead. But I'd like to have this opportunity rather than use it immediately. I will give Graziani another chance 😆
