So like cold war era, you can shove him on a super tank, or on a commando depending on the country you play as. Yes like in 1939 campaign destination berlin, rundstedt is pretty good on his tank He could be used as a hybrid, 3 stars in tank and artillery very good indeed.

When attacking cities, what infantry is best at, none of his base skills will be used. However, if you build him around a damage dealing infantry general, most of his skills will be used but he will get rekt in seconds. Mannerheim costs slightly more than him but you could have raider + jungle + explosives and have him comparable to yamashita at city wrecking. I would put raider + inf leader on him, that way he is good at both. Or if you want a decent hybrid, urban + plain fighting + rumor would make him a good city defender, or plain fighting + explosives will make him a good damage dealer on anything. His base 3 skills are a but unconventional so building him will be tricky. But he is great no matter what

This guy is a bargain. After you complete his missions, you get an awesome General for just 1340 medals!

Get arnold or yamamoto, infantry defending a city with airport for air attacks isnt exactly smart as infantry have low health, and if you use the argument that artillery can have even lower hp(which is true), at least they cant be destroyed badly by tanks.

Well, I was unsettled about doing his missions anyway. Going to replace him with Nimitz in my bucket list.

Upgrade his guerilla to level 5 and give him the guerilla blitzkrieg medal for weak countries. He is a beast.

If you give him guerilla, the only thing he has on rundstendt is bayonet charge and ace forces (good but not enough).

Well, if price isn’t an issue for you, you don’t really have to look for cheaper options if you can get the best one and still have a considerable amount of medals remaining. BTW this is the post that promoted me to Colonel.

Yep. From a staff sergeant to Darth Vader in like 8 months.... wow. Or maybe 5 months, because I was inactive in March, April and practically the whole month of May.

After you get all necessary generals, all you need to worry about is upgrading the skills, but that’s just boosting something that is already great, so it’s less of a worry.
