Yep. From a staff sergeant to Darth Vader in like 8 months.... wow. Or maybe 5 months, because I was inactive in March, April and practically the whole month of May. was 4 months for me cuz I was really free before the term started for me

Hmmm. Definitely an out-of-the-box idea, I might. And I can change skills later if need be. Cool. So I guess Plain Warfare and either Rumor or Inf Leader Yeah. I would go with Rumor if you want a hybrid. Stars don’t really matter that much, at least compared to health That’s why it’s better to use Arnold if you want a second Artillery just for Rumor.

Well, if price isn’t an issue for you, you don’t really have to look for cheaper options if you can get the best one and still have a considerable amount of medals remaining. BTW this is the post that promoted me to Colonel. lol congratz, a few more months and we will be seeing you as a Darth Vader. Yes rundstedt and vasilevsky are just economical options Lol was looking for this post when I became Darth Vader. In less than 1 month, from Colonel to Darth Vader.

sounds like something my yamashita can achieve Yes, but yamashita is very expensive. If you give him guerilla, the only thing he has on rundstendt is bayonet charge and ace forces (good but not enough). Although I’ve been preferring Mannerheim over Rundstedt, I’ve pondering about the fact that Rundstedt can use all 3 most useful Infantry skills (Raider, Infantry Leader and Guerrilla), while Mannerheim can only use 2. He’s still quite powerful, but missing Infantry Leader for extra damage is bad, and Guerrilla is much more important than Blitzkrieg because there is currently (and will likely never be) no Infantry unit that has a range of 2 hexes. Infantry also has mostly low HP, which makes the need to be able to attack without retaliation high. Lack of Blitzkrieg is forgivable because Tanks have high HP and Heavy Tanks and Super Tanks have 2 hexes range. Mannerheim starts with Level 3 Raider and Level 3 Jungle Fighting, but upgrading any skill to Level 3 isn’t expensive. Rundstedt's discount missions are easy, so I will complete them and test him. If he ends up being worth it I will keep him.

Mannerheim is good because you can stick on infantry leader, give him both the medals for both infantry abilities as well as maybe jungle fighting, and he will pretty much wreck cities. Regardless, don’t expect an infantry unit to be the goat in any modern war campaign

Yeah. I actually used Yamashita again and let’s just say that he wasn’t impressive. I'm going to try Rundstedt. He is cheaper than Mannerheim so it will be barely a loss if I dislike him and sell him anyway. Edit: I ended up preferring to play safe and buy Mannerheim, no regrets. I used him to clear Rundstedt's last discount mission and he performed amazingly in a jungle tile. He profits more from the Legion Medal that Rommel does and Rundstedt has no ideal third Medal, so Mannerheim was a better option anyway.

My first run at Wc4, I got Mannerheim. Infantry is the only troop that doesn't have a debuff in forests. To compare, Forests are more common than cities They both have raider. They both have elastic defense. They can both have infantry leader. Rundstedt can have Guerilla or Bayonet charge. Mannerheim if positioned in the common forest>Rundstedt with Bayonet charge If rundstedt has guerilla it is a question of survivability vs damage. I'm very sorry Rundstedt, but I prefer Mannerheim.
