Tunnel is an amazing skill. Makes Massena very powerful on Grenadiers and Old Guards. Inspiration is decent. And thankfully that lack of terrain bonus is forgivable. It’s exactly that he lacks a terrain skill that is the reason I’m not the biggest fan of Massena. That’s +25% atk he’s missing out on, huge. Lannes and Bismarck sieges better than he does. He also has some surviability issues I don’t like either. My dream infantry general would probably have something like Assault, Ambush, Tunnel, Plain and inf master. Bismarck with Infantry Master instead of Alert. Sadly, there are few (if any) generals that are overall better performers than Massena. |

The damage Massena would deal against cities when on a Grenadier would be similar to Blucher attacking an Infantry unit when on a strong Cavalry unit.

Infantry has terrible defense so I don’t thin above the rank of price makes a massive difference for infantry generals. It definitely does for cavarly hence why Lan is way better than Dabrowski imo |
