Hmm. I miny Davout. Insteresting. He is around 1000 medals cheaper. However there is a catch. Its worth picking up Davout over Paget as he an additional rank on Paget, has an additional skill slot, higher output, and is an end game general. My Davout cost around 3000/4000 medals to fully upgrade, so the 1000 medal difference really isn’t much compared to that.
Secondly, Paget false in a very unlucky place. Greene is around 500 medals cheaper than him, but can do anything he can. You might be discouraged by greene’s maximum rank of duke, but you really won’t need any lvl 5 skills, as you will just temporarily use him till you can afford Davout.
Overall not bad. But get Davout if you can afford him. Otherwise get Greene.

He isn’t bad, he is just a bit too expensive. He is between Greene and Davout, but is barely better than Greene |

I feel very sad for this guy, his achievements in the earlier part of the Peninsular war was undeniable as his cavalry Division defeat the French elite division when the British was still recovering from the death of john Moore.this boost the morale of British troop untill Wellington came in.in the end he had to left the war early because he has affair with Wellington brother wife. But he still serve the British in other campaign like the the wretched campaign (although failed but he did well)and the famous cavalry change in Waterloo. In my perspective, he is better than Murat in many ways in strategy, Calvary skill, bravary and courage.

After we have figured out the effect of Surprise Attack... Paget can be very arguably better than Davout. Paget vs Davout is SA + price vs stats + crit + Station. Cavalry generals don’t usually stay in cities(what? You use Bagration because of that? Nvm). Crit basically grants a 35% * 10% = 3.5% bonus and Davout doesn’t really have an advantage over Paget on stats, especially when Paget starts running. Also, Paget has a massive price advantage over Davout.

I wouldn’t get paget either. Go for murat, lan, or dabrowski (worst of them all) while I have Murat I shall try my 1812 to get Lan then because I personally don't like the fat guy from Poland(😜) Dabrowski is good, just duke ruins everything. But his damage still won’t be weak by any means |

I think that main problem of Dabrowsky is his low defense-you must use a prusaian helmet and a healing item to make him worth a place in your team but he's still 3rd best cav gen after Blucher and Murat.
