Agreed. He wastes a skill on land fort. I agree. It can be good on occasion, but i’d take alexander over napoleon iii any day of the week. The main difference between Mahmud and Napoleon III is that mahmud’s other skills make up for it, whereas napoleon’s don’t. Just think of him as a ludwig outside of the city. Alexander iii has aura buff with the terrain bonus and salvo which is extremely good for beginners. |

for infantry I recommend to get Massena, Karl, and Barclay. for Calvary get Blutcher, Murat, and Dabroski, for artillery. Napoleon, Muhamad II, and Alexander. dont worry about navy.

You couldn’t have bought anyone better for that job Massena is good,only when you upgrade him to Major general so you can put an healing item on him, but i forget maybe he is already at that rank. What i remember is he is rather weak in the beginning. So now having a good Inftry general,you should upgrade infrantry skills particularly the units you plan to put him on. |

They are both maxed in skills and ranks , but Massena is still legendary . Karl is good when he deals 340 of critical damage against a unit (but once in a time) . |

Karl has the best crit damage by far and his output will be higher than massena’s on jungle. He is a bit hard to use keep that in mind. But he is very strong. He has far better defense (with ambush) then massena. The reason as to why you are seeing that he has less output is because he lacks massena’s assualt and will be on plain’s half the time. Give him the 20% crit damage buff medal and you’ll see the difference. |

I think the skill "Tunnel" gives the general extra defence .. Massena and Karl are the best combo in the game without any dubt. |

Thanks in advance. For items, I recommend getting minimally 1X Ambulance and arty telescope for Mahmud. Afterwards, save up for your second gen. For inf, there's Massena, and there's Murat for cav. |
