Now this is really an interesting one... It is the 5-th mission of Crimean war with an unimaginative name "Siege". And what is exciting, - it is a land battle! So don't rush to hire Admirals

We have to defend 3 key points. All of them are controlled by very weak allies. All AI's units have the highest experience and all generals are fully upgraded marshals. But that is not the whole story. Twice AI's reinforcement will arrive on the battlefield. Reinforcement is as formidable as the main force. Plus AI will spam units every turn.

AI can't be distracted by our actions. Units move from one key point to the next. So the only chance we have is to recapture lost cities, but after that the new wave with generals and experienced troops is coming.

To receive 3 stars we have to control all key targets and are not allowed to use Inf generals

After several attempts I think I can complete it with one star. But that is all what I can do right now, I believe. Some of our generals have to be promoted to marshals to complete it with 2 stars. And you definitely need more than 8 generals in the team to complete it with 3 stars...

I would recommend it. Moreover, now AI has several pieces of elite Artillery, so Dovout's bonus when fighting inside the city is less important now. On the contrary, our generals should be kept away from cities if possible. But in naval battles Davout could be more useful (because of second attack possibility and we have advantage in attack range).

stoic, i have dabrowski and murat, but the people on this forum rate davout better than dabrowski, in my opinion dabrowski are better pair with murat , he have more basic attack than davout.
Dabrowski + Murat : Dabrowski deal 170- 160 to infantry Murat deal 210- 200 to infantry
Davout + Murat : Murat deal 188 - 180 to infantry and davout deal 140 to infantry with the double attack he deal 280 but is not secure.

I always said that I prefer Dabrowski over Davout

. And second attack possibility is not that great anymore, because the chance is high that Davout will be more injured now than AI's Inf general. HPs' restoration is of great importance now. You have to give your generals time for it... Murat and Dabrowski are far better in land battles, in my opinion...
