Used 4 cav generals (Blucher, Murat, Dambrovsky, Davout), 3 artillery (Napoleon, John and not upgraded Jourdan) and Nelson on Machine Gun. We need either more Cavalry (Ney and Lan for example) or to increase rank up to marshals for our gens.

I was trying to do this without Infantry as well but was smashed without mercy The idea was the same to defend the last city with a bunch of corpses Once was even close. But I still have no Idea how to receive 3 stars for this mission.

If these 3 commanders would have higher survivability it is doable. As I see the strategy here: we need to take upper right city, after that middle. Than turn back to the first one to annihilate reinforcements and only after that to go and retake left city.

Key to this mission is Mameluks. Got 3 star on it, Bluther on armored car, Murat, Dabrowski, Davoutvon Mameluke that were bought on discount due to Maria, Napoleon, Sophia, Alex, Mahmud and Nelson on arty, bought 2 light arty and budget in the end was 2 gold. Then move on north and follow the invaders, take eastern city, leave one unit, take middle, make it a permanent base, then take western and hold. In the end retake eastern city with force march. With Mameluke kill units with low health to regenerate and that is your key to survival.

This probably is the most fun challenge i have encountered. By fun i mean the most frustrating challenge i've ever encountered. Back to grinding 1798 Netherlands conquest i guess.

So we cannot use Infrantry generals? Being mostly Cavalry bent, myself.,and upgraded I can live with that. I am not even there yet,but getting close tho. This one looks like off the scale hard. Just want a 2 star. What other prerequisites are there?

Just want a 2 star. What other prerequisites are there? No infantry gens, hold 3 key points, hold 1 key point. Also, i have 4 cavalry gens, and almost won with 2 stars, but yeah, reinforcements are a pain. Not gonna attempt this until much later, still need to upgrade my cavalry gens.

Yeah, very often in ET games "fun" and "frustration" are interchangeable words Really fun. I also love the fact that you can't really separate the generals and cut them off. They separate only for 1 turn ever so slightly, then they ignore my units and go straight for the other key points. Also, the moment i thought it would be an easy 3 star, reinforcements came. Really fun, oh boy i really want to play another similar challenge after this one.

Really need to either get lucky, or have more cavalry gens to deal with the large number of enemy units.

So should I sell all my infantry generals??? (I only have Massena plus 2 free ones) And use the current 1400 medals I have to try to upgrade my generals or what? This mission seems near impossible to me... Also how many princesses did you guys use/which princesses should I use in this mission?
