Imagine Surena attacking an infantry general who has more health than him. Yeah pretty pathetic lmao. There is no need to imagine. Just take mission 01 of the Parthian campaign and compare. You are given Surena on the Horse Archer and Horse Archer to assign Your general. Surena is only 4 points in archery, but he is anyway very-very strong. Attack against Cavalry is comparable to non-crit attack of fully upgraded Mithridate. Imo in GCR unit type is of bigger importance than in EW6. So Surena is not that bad if used on high tier unit. Yeah the horse archer is really good I agree. Plus he has accuracy and besiege. But then again, even pedius on a horse cavarly is powerful |

You say Huo is great and Arminius is bad, but Huo has 3 skills only. They both don't have Cavalry Commander. Huo's Raid is aweful as You are always on the edge of being slaughtered if this skill is applied... Drussus is brilliant and Surena is aweful. While Drussus is completely situational general with basically no skills. There is no logic here. It is more personal preferencies imo. You simply dislike some generals for no reason |

It's called being capricious . Nah, Drusus is great because inspire. Hate it when i deal less damage because some random unit hits you. Also, agreed. How can Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus dislike the greatness that is Crassus. And what is unique in this Inspire? You can put this effect on any of Your gen anytime with no any problem. Unfortunately there’s only one laurel crown. You can put it on only one of your generals. Inspire is a great skill. Plus it means that you can’t get rumored, you are always at max morale. In gcr when you attack, there’s always a chance your morale actually gets knocked down 1. Then you get flanked and that happens again and suddenly your general is stupid. In tight situations with lots of spam, inspire is a great skill to possess. |

And only couple of times had double morale loss because of flanking. Avoid flanking., use Oration when need or use senator's ring which is almost as goud as crown. Had no moral problems at all in this game... |

I personally like Arminius way more than Huo, but huo is arguably the greatest general in the game to give the laurel crown. Your right about them lacking cavarly commander, but at the same time, anthony and varus are really the only cavarly generals with that aren’t in the terrible category of generals Everyone else with that skill is insanely bad. If you hate huo, wei is on another level of suck. Drusus has the skill advantage, which combined with inspire results in frequent critical hits and high damage. On the otherhand, surena only really has besiege and accuracy. Archers are horrendous inside cities as they can crushed very quickly. Ironically Drusus is actually better than surena at puppy guarding cities due to his perks. Overall, Surena is a bad bargain as he brings very little to the table for his huge price. All it takes to kill surena is to put 2 high tier swordsman units, without a general even, on his flank and he’ll be dead in 3 or 4 turns. Drusus is much harder to kill. |

The ring is a good item I agree, but even with it, you won’t be at max morale all the time. |

But when he is not attacking cities, he is honestly meh. I don’t really have any space for meh generals on my team. Literally anyone with infantry commander will deal more damage to a stronghold than crassus |
